Initiative - the power or opportunity to act or take charge before others do. 

For example, some time around November last year, we at Sweat came across this absolute monster of a tune on THIS AIN'T BRISTOL called NASTY by a dude called MARC SPENCE (which got to no 1 on the beatport tech house chart might we add). 

So…... we took the INITIATIVE to hit him up and tell him how much we loved the tune and would he want to do an EP with us. 

And BOOM, not long after we got a slew of tunes in our inbox, the fruits of which are now sitting under this spiel aka THE RAPPIN RABBIT EP - for those that ever wondered what tech house would sound like if raised in the gutter!!!
