Fliester Dubs is a meditation on place, transformation, and the quiet resonance of time. These two dub techno compositions, Village Whispers and Noble Booth, emerge from Stefan's journey - one that began with a move to village life, an immersion in traditions, and an unexpected discovery of hidden frequencies beneath the surface. What first seemed rigid and unyielding slowly revealed its depth - a place not just of history, but of artists, thinkers, and quiet revolutionaries shaping their own rhythm within its confines.

Wow! I was excited as soon as I saw this link up between Italy's Babe Roots and Japan's New Dub Hall label then I listened to the clips and got a whole lot more excited!

A-sider "Mi Feel It" featuring dub poet Wayne (who Babe Roots have worked with previously on their "Through We" 12" released on System Music really is something very, very special indeed. Sitting somewhere between dub techno, dub poetry and golden era 90's trip hop (think Blue Lines-era Massive Attack...) it's the sort of thing dubwise dreams are made of. This one ticks so many boxes for me it's just rediculous. Absolutely amazing. 

Hoeever it doesn't stop there. Flip it over and we're treated to the soulful rootical dub techno/dub poetry of the appropriately named 'Roots" featuring none other than Undefined's very own Ohkuma on drums who provides percussive backing to Wayne's deeper than deep dub poetry.

Two brilliantly diverse and innovative dubwise sounds on one mighty fine 10" dubplate style. Can't wait to get my hands on this one!

Sonic Verse host their first show on Balamii, bringing live electronic performance to the forefront. For the debut session, they're joined by SE London-based producer Oliver Palfreyman (aka O.Pal) on an MPC & Octatrack.

Oliver Palfreyman has been making waves in London’s scene, known for his productions and collaborations with artists like George Riley, Lex Amor, and Wu-Lu. His latest project, Double Vision is out now.

Titled ‘Transmission 96′ the new album features ten tracks which has us reminiscing on late night escapades and the dark lofty warehouses of our youth.

Two pioneers of the UK underground, Liftin’ Spirits has been at the forefront of jungle and drum n bass since the early 90’s with Dj Persuasion having earned his credentials as one of the most definitive dj’s in the scene from around the same time all the way up to the present.

There is a splendid air of nostalgia about this release – it sounds exactly as it should, channeling elements of the past alongside modern influences in a way which feels true to the rawness and rugged sensibilities of the genre.

This track is the lead single from the release – a dreamy affair with all the euphoric notes hitting in the right places. All underpinned by quintessential breaks and sounds which might have been lifted straight from an airfield or barn in the 90’s.

Ricardo Tobar returns to MUSAR with 'Knitting' - a four-track EP blending dancefloor intimacy with raw, analog spirit. A two original cuts from the Chilean producer are joined by standout remixes from synth sorcerer Pye Corner Audio and cosmic rave queen Nightwave.

The EP opens with 'Los Siblings', a distilled snapshot of Tobar’s current sound: intricate arrangements, ethereal melodies, heavyweight bass-line and a vintage edge shaped for the club. “I’m embracing the dancefloor,” he says. “This is me doing tunes I would like to dance to.”

On the flip, 'Knitting' unravels from a simple arpeggio into lysergic ‘’Stereolab’' - techno chaos-alive, imperfect, and deeply personal. “It sounds like it wants to eat itself,” Tobar reflects. Layers on layers of psychedelia and cosmic melody turn this into a trippy journey track like no one else does.

Architect of foggy club rituals, Pye Corner Audio transforms 'Knitting' into an eerie, trance-tinged club weapon, while Nightwave turns 'Knitting' into a high-gloss, dreamy club stormer.
