WE LIVE IN A BRAIN LP 2023 - Promo mix by Defect

Luontotietoisuus (=nature consciousness) is Teknojta's new EP, which continues his efforts in fusing underground hardcore techno with folk music of ritualistic nature introducing more vocals and acoustic instruments in the mix.

The tracks were made in collaboration with 4 different vocalists:
* Susi Kankare, singing a Karelian-style itkuvirsi, or lament, for the nature
* Taskumatti, a rapper from the Tampere underground known for his deep lyrics
* Ari Aurelia, a tribal etherial songstress from Scotland channeling ritual music with primal & nordic roots
* Samu Kuusisto, a throat singer combining the kargyraa style with Finnish spells

In ancient cultures the romantic relationship between a MAN and a WOMAN was considered to be a sacred gift from the GODS. Falling in LOVE with the opposite gender was considered the highest spiritual state an individual can reach and its fruit, the miracle of birth, was the biggest known event a sentient being could experience. What we now perceive as something between old fashioned and harassing was once the life's purpose for the indigenous people all over the world. In our modern world, I too as a MAN, consider myself being one of those based humans manifesting my worship towards WOMEN. And with this track I truly hope I could express at least a glimpse of the mysterious multifaceted state of LOVE and the chaotic uncontrollable power of DESIRE. SHE is the track and it's all about HER! 🌹💓👹

Johan Herzelius has always had a love for electronic music and a special appetite for hardcore and other styles of HDM.

His first DJ gig was in 2007, and since then, he has played at events for various Swedish party organizers (Blackout, Octocore, Electronic Massacre, Hardbeach, Owl festival, and more).

Between 2007 and 2014, he was part of the Octocore crew, organizing events with lineups featuring a mix of Swedish underground DJs and international HDM acts.

Apart from being a DJ, he is a producer with releases on labels such as Terror Traxx, Next Cyclone, Red Fever, Northern Outpost, and Mindsvision Records.

As a DJ, he currently plays a mix of different styles and eras, leaning towards the more underground aspects of hardcore.

Nothing short of explosive is the energy level that this DJ brings to the dancefloor!
