I was asked to do a remix for Rednose back in the day but didn't make the cut. DOMU beat me out!!! The original mix simmered and eventually I was asked if I wanted to do a limited pressing with new versions. Came up with the additional fast and slow mix for the 12inch. Biggup the whole Rush Hour Kindred Spirits Amsterdam Rotterdam Drie Keer Raden Rednose massive!!

"Deep is dead" is a fascinating mix of organic and synthetic, past and present, smoothness and eclectic, darkness and brightness. The Spanish producer has veered away from those dub-heavy and dark atmospheric deep stylings, and instead has ventured into much classic house and musically territory. Almost all songs are soaked in warm chords, dreamy leads and gripping melodies. Dubbyman also offers an immense and stunning roster of credits and guest musicians such as Kuniyuki Takahashi, Leo Gunn and George Btp aka Allstarr Motomusic, just to mention a few.

”Reconnect" remained a dubplate amongst a handful broken beat dj’s for years until Simbad decided to release it on Swedish Brandy Productions, a label that has been fairly constant in putting out timeless  underground dance music since nearly two decades. Thanks to a string of rock solid releases on G.A.M.M, Local Talk and Sampling As An Art Records, the Milanese producer has earned a reputation for creating rich, soul-fired dancefloor workouts that variously join the dots between deep house, US garage, jazz-funk and broken beat.

The track titled "In Search" is a punchy and loose-limbed broken beat roller that layers spacey jazz-funk synths and opulent Rhodes riffs atop raw analogue bass and infectious bruk up drums.
