The music and audio industry currently uses the A = 440 Hz universal standard pitch tuning around the world. It wasn’t always this way. In fact, 440 Hz has been the standard for less than a hundred years, a drop in the bucket in terms of music history. The tuning of A = 432 Hz, also used throughout music history, is making quite a comeback. 

The earliest instruments were flutes and lyres, often used for therapeutic purposes. Hundreds of years later during the classical periods of western music, it was documented that composers like Mozart and Verdi used the 432 Hz tuning.  Verdi believed it was a much better tuning for Operatic voices. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, 432 Hz tuning was challenged by other countries like Germany, the US and Britain who all seemed to be using and experimenting with different tunings.

"No Need to Worry" is an ambient, etherial, open & cinematic soundscape song with modern sounds and urban influences.

The idea for “No Need to Worry" came about as I was listening to the artist “Kimbra.” Her music was streaming in my car and one of her songs inspired a melody. I recorded the idea on my phone as a voice memo, the way that I usually start my songwriting process. Later as I sat down at the piano the lyrics and melody flowed through me in a constant wave until I had a completed song in my hands. Immediately after, I recorded the song in my home studio but there was still something missing. A short time later, Bala Mandala, a producer known for his lush soundscape, heard the song and fell in love with it. Together we collaborated to bring the song to life. The producer, Chris Crutch, who I also happen to be married to, added the final touch to the song with a bridge sampling some of my ad-libs, bringing the song to its completed state. 

The song is a downtempo, anthemic driven piece about “letting go and let God” it has an ambient, etherial, open & cinematic soundscape, painted in modern sounds and urban influences. 

The melody gives me a sense of hope and serenity and I'm hoping it will bring joy and healing to others as well!

A solo female artist with a contemporary spiritual, indie pop and urban sound,  SWEEDiSH is currently releasing music from her latest project, the “Weightless Volume Series” with the first single “No Need to Worry”.

SWEEDiSH’ ability to recognize voices and emulate sounds started early. She was exposed to top 40 radio and she loved listening to her mother sing and hearing records by the Beatles, Gloria Estefan, Sade, ABBA, Robyn, Mariah Carey, Whitney Huston and more. At the age of 14 she started writing her own music. SWEEDiSH has always strived to be an artist with integrity and depth and has been creating and working independently with people she loves for most of her career. Now she does most of her collaborations with her husband. 

SWEEDiSH has had music featured on the hit TV shows Power and Empire. She also has been seen on NBC's "The Voice,” "Showtime at the Apollo" and on the Swedish annual TV program “Melodifestivalen.” 

I live for poetry, abstract art, and music. I’d like for my true self, however God (YHWH) created me, to be portrayed in everything I do, so I’m really excited to share my latest work with the world.
