Steve Parry is unquestionably at the top of the UK scene, regularly playing along side heavy weights such as John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seamen, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J, he is the DJ’s choice of DJ.

Widely respected across the industry, his acclaimed 3 year residency at the iconic Cream in Liverpool, seen him rise to the top, regularly being booked to headline around the world, playing in clubs such as Ministry of Sound and the legendary Space Ibiza.

His ties to his home city of Liverpool are strong, where he managed the world famous 3Beat Records, and as a promoter, Steve had much success, firstly with his legendary ‘Alderaan’ nights which ran from ’97 – 2001 in a room above the infamous Lemon Lounge and helped to shape the very scene Liverpool has become known for to this day.

Now in between touring the world, Steve and long term friend and business partner Dave Seamen head up the Selador label, with many chart toppers under their belt already and many more to come.

Bio:

A lot of people worldwide know about LEMON8 as a producer but not that many people are familiar with the fact that he's an outstanding DJ in his own right too. Starting out in the 80's with hip-hop and funk at local clubs in and around the city of Rotterdam, he soon started to pick up house music and started organising his own parties. That way he met some influential DJ's while trying to get some openings for himself. It worked, and soon he had his big break by becoming resident at Holland's biggest and most influential club at that time; Nighttown, where he played for more then 4 years. During that time he created MODEL8 as an anthem for his 'own' crowd followed by 'the Bells Of Revolution' 2 years later, which almost entered the UK top 40 again last year. Harry has now played virtually every club in Holland with some of the best DJ's worldwide, whilst producing the finest dance tracks that became a soundtrack of a generation.

As we are well into the new millennium, Harry Lemon has set out to break new barriers with a series of records that all bare the same title; 'The Inner Sanctuary Sessions', to be releases in 6 (1) parts, each containing 2 tracks. He created a buzz with the first one containing 'Black 'n White World' and 'Tunnelvision', which made quite an Impression in the Progressive Scene worldwide. But it was after the release Inner Sanctuary 2 that he gained international respect with 'TRIPLE FUNK' and 'THE ONLY WAY', considered by most DJ's as a progressive landmark.

He now is one of the busiest remixers, with mixes for the most influential progressive labels the world over. On top of that he's releasing 2 different tracks on John Digweed's Bedrock label that will definitely put him on the A-list of DJ/ Producers worldwide.

Hello everyone! If you are new to the series or well versed, welcome! This is our infamous weekly Progcast, and today we are celebrating the third year of our journeys around the world of global underground dance music. What better way to celebrate this massive achievement? In the only way PFG knows how..

Little did anyone think, that when we started this series, it would grow into what you see now. Delivering an exclusive mix on a weekly basis, from a range of DJ's & artists, headliner's, label bosses, industry legends, upcoming talent and even our own members. The series has grown from strength to strength, gaining recognition from the highest levels of power within our scene,  and raising a few eyebrows along the way.

It seemed only right to mark such a prestigious occasion as this by delivering a mix that will go down in history. Always keen to top what's come before, we celebrate our 3rd birthday with the one and only... Jim Rivers! 

After a hiatus of a few years 2023 sees the rejuvenated Jim Rivers back in the studio and making music again…

With releases on stellar labels like Bedrock, Global Underground and Renaissance and an album on Carl Cox’s Intec, Jims back catalogue is littered with a wide variety of music, all made with a depth and warmth few others can match.

Jim featured in the highly acclaimed Nu Breed series on Global Underground as well as lending his remixing skills to world class artists such as Quivver, Laurent Garnier, Deadmau5 and Photek to name a few.  

Under the alias Copy Paste Soul, Jim took his sound to a different place fusing garage, techno and drum and bass with a heavy dose of soul and dancefloor fun, that saw the project gain support from big hitters Annie Mac and Skream on BBC Radio 1.

His DJ travels have taken him from Ministry of Sound and Fabric in London, to Space in Ibiza, Pacha in Buenos Aires, Air in Tokyo, North and South American tours and many weird and wonderful places in between.

After rupturing his achilles at the end of last year and facing time away from his day job, Jim knew this was all the motivation he needed to really get his music making mojo back. Over the past few months his Maidstone studio has been a hive of activity, culminating with a folder full of new productions that will make their way out this year. In 2023 Jim is back and finding his groove again. 

It’s about making music that makes him feel something first and then seeing where it goes! Expect to see a lot more new music this year, some of which you can hear exclusively on this mix!

Hello Everyone, welcome back to the midweek bump that is our infamous Progcast. We continue our mission, to seek out and find only the best DJs and artists around Planet Progressive, and return home with an exclusive mix just for you! 

We continue, on from last week, with Part 2 of our YANA Showcase. We started with Lynsey, the show's curator. Today we focus on a DJ she has selected to continue the theme, a DJ who regularly conjures up sets for the Subcode Show.. 

Make some noise for Andy Kneale!! 

Andy is a DJ who wears his influences on his sleeve, and whose obsession with electronic music began in the early 1990s. He began listening to artists such as Altern-8, The Prodigy, Top Buzz, Acen and Brothers In Rhythm.

Skip to the end of the decade, while at university studying Physics, he finds himself immersed in the trance and progressive house scene. It wasn’t until the early 2000s that Andy became addicted to the dark and pulsing rhythms of Techno when he first listened to The Youngsters Album ‘Lemon Orange’ and the classic Funk D’Void ‘Diabla’. All these influences are obvious in Andy’s music, full of melody, deep pads and old skool stabs, Andy’s music tries to strike at the heart of the listener.

Over the years Andy's music has garnered support from many of his heroes, including his favourite DJ Laurent Garnier, having featured on his "It is what it is" radio show. More recently another of Andy's dreams came true when another of his heroes, Funk D'void, remixed his track "Into The Light". 

His first EP for Hype muzik ‘Spectrum’ gained support from some of the undergrounds finest talents, including Ian O’Donovan, Madben, Mars T, to name a few. His EP ‘We thought Kraftwerk Was Robots’ gained support and plays from many DJs including UK legends Colin Dale and Nick Warren. As Andy’s sound develops, interest for his music grows.
