About Jachmastr:

JACHMASTR, a seasoned UK DJ, producer, and podcaster, has been a driving force in the underground club scene since 1986. His musical journey has seen him delve into the depths of original Chicago House, Detroit Techno, Acid House, Bleeps and Bass, as well as Belgian, UK, and US Techno. His repertoire also spans UK Hardcore and Dutch Gabber, though in recent years, his sound has evolved into a more refined blend of Progressive House, Melodic Techno, and Melodic House.

Over the decades, JACHMASTR has witnessed the ever-changing landscape of the underground scene. His experience includes performing for crowds of up to 10,000 people and gracing the decks at some of the UK’s most iconic clubs. Beyond his DJing, he has also been a key figure in the promotion and organisation of club nights, running his own events, a pirate radio station, and even managing a record shop.

JACHMASTR's influence extends to the digital realm, where he curates and hosts the Progression Sessions shows on platforms like YouTube, Mixcloud, SoundCloud, Facebook, and Instagram. These sessions feature exclusive tracks and DJ promos from over 120 labels and renowned artists within the genre. His twice-weekly live streams on Mixcloud Live, airing every Wednesday and Sunday from 19:00-21:00 GMT, have become a staple for fans of Progressive House, Melodic House, and Melodic Techno.

In the studio, JACHMASTR has released tracks on labels like Sounds & Frequencies Recordings, where his tracks "Obsession" and "Leave Us Alone" have made their mark. He also has upcoming releases on Capital Heaven, collaborating with Selsi, and alongside Sam Whitelaw, he released "The Northern" on Hexagonal Music.

JACHMASTR has also made significant contributions to various podcast label mixsets for Univack, Transensations, Reckoning Records, Zephyr Music, Lohit Music, Big Bells Digital, Comet Records, and Redwave Recordings, all of which are available on YouTube. His mixes for Droid9 Records, Another Life Music, and Transensations Records have found a home on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, further solidifying his presence in the global electronic music community.
