Always such a challenge to narrow it down but each of the tracks themselves tend pave the way to the next and in the end the process becomes somewhat out of my hands 🙌

The beauty of sharing this home recording in lieu of the live set is that it gave me the ability to leave a number of tracks intact with their original flow and integrity rather than slicing, dicing or skipping along to squeeze everything into my allocated time slot.

Granular Dust 741 Hz [Dark Nature Concept]

A quick, fun project I worked on during the Holidays. It started as more of a playlist and next I knew it ended up being a +70 min. long mix.

I have been totally in awe of the amount of quality work coming out of Russia and East Europe lately in the past few years. Russians in particular have taken Future Garage (and all its sub branches) into heart and have elevated it to a level all their own. The likes of Nuage, Volor Flex, Delete, etc. are growing and thriving constantly to the point that to keep track of them it is more of a full time job. The idea for this mix was to share work of some of the newer, younger, less known talent coming from there to offer a sample of quality of work. Craset ( https://soundcloud.com/cra-set/ ) and https://soundcloud.com/sloati are two newer finds who have totally and consistently have surprised me recently so they are the main two producers featured throughout this mix.

This was a spare of the moment project. If it gets enough positive response, I may think about making it another mix series on its own. There is enough good work out there that I think the idea may have some legs to run.  Hope you like it. All comments and feedback are welcome.

a mix that i have been wanting to assemble for a long while and it finally came to fruition as i was perched by the pacific ocean in the company of wolves and hawks. the distant sound of the waves crashing far below permeates my experience. the fog and rain and wild ocean compliment these sounds. i could have called this the existential crisis mix, or the grief mix or the nervous breakdown mix. a mostly beatless journey through ambient/neoclassical compositions, it's dramatic and emotional and noisy, uplifting and depressing, dark and beautiful{to me}. i hope it finds you in the right place and time.
