Ex-New Yorker Mark Steiner is a seasoned Norwegian-American international recording artist, performer and producer who relocated to Oslo, Norway in 2002. His music can be described as melancholic "swamp-noir," but with lyrics which often carry a subtle sense of humor. Mark Steiner is about to release a new album under the name Mark Steiner & His Problems along with drummer Ted Parsons (ex-Swans, Prong, Killing Joke), bassist Leon Muraglia (Radio 9, OMD), guitarist Romer Paluch-Edwards, and Norwegian chanteuse Ingunn Holmen. Special guests include Czech violinist Pavel Cingl, Norwegian singer Line Saus, and Danish wingman Thomas Borge.

After the break up of his band The Birthday Party in 1982, Nick Cave formed Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds who released their debut album From Her To Eternity in 1984. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have since released fourteen studio albums; and the band's current output remains as vital and explorative as those early pioneering sessions recorded at Hansa Studios in Berlin.

One of the most critically acclaimed acts working today, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ influence has been profound and far-reaching: artists as diverse as Johnny Cash, Metallica and The Arctic Monkeys have all covered their work.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds -- Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey, Jim Sclavunos, Thomas Wydler and Conway Savage -- have been working together for nearly two decades. Push The Sky Away, the band’s fifteenth studio album, was released in 2013.

Together with Azalea's unbounded enthusiasm for Melbourne/Berlin rock music, it was her raw and untapped talent that first attracted the attention of renowned drummer Chris Hughes (Rowland S. Howard; Mick Harvey; Nikki Sudden; Alex Hacke; Hugo Race; Fatal Shore; Dim Locator). After Hughes recorded some demos with Sweet Positive in 2016, his erstwhile band mate Phil Shoenfelt (Khmer Rouge; Fatal Shore; Southern Cross; Nikki Sudden; Dim Locator) decided to get involved as well. The result is a five song mini album – produced by Shoenfelt – called “At Her Majesty’s Pleasure”. The CD was released by the German label Moloko + in January 2018. Songs such as “Under The Cherry Tree”  and “Kill Me” are spooky but melodic, drawing the listener into a vortex of repetitive riffs and dark, magical imagery. The cover art by Julia Chochola is also remarkable for its hypnotically suggestive swirls of red, white and black, opening pathways into the viewer’s unconscious, as does the music itself.
