you find an odd looking floppy disk in your parents' attic, seemingly used and worn down - it's not like anything you've ever seen before, though it bears a title, simply labeled 'VIDEOFUNK". you decide to play it to see what's on it. suddenly you are immersed in a a late-night broadcast from an alternate world — saturated with static, beautiful people living out their dream lives, and glowing in neon nostalgia. it shows you a glimpse into an retro futuristic utopian world, very similar to the one we were promised, where everything was alright. It feels so real and strangely familiar, playing tunes and beats to a soundtrack of memories you're not even sure are yours, but they very well could be. And despite how old it looked, you might even think that this warped, grungy sound somehow got BETTER with time...

in this form however, without the visuals, what remains is the pure broadcast audio: lofi rhythms, hazy funk basslines, and the hum of a world that only ever existed between television channels, taking you by the hand and reminding you that everything will be alright, no matter the timeline.
