Forces is a genre-bending experimental indie band. Ethereal yet earthy; Sweet yet gritty; their songs will flow you down a lazy river in summertime, and smack you all the way to outer space. Introspective and raw, their melodies will haunt you.

Based in Washington DC, Forces are:
Cristina Rios - Vocals, Tiple, Keyboards, Loops, Guitar
John Lanou - Bass, vocals
Hernaldo Hernandez - Electric Guitar
James Dietz - Drums, Vocals

SweetBread Jim's is melodically driven rock music with influences spanning many genres and generations. The songs are familiar yet original, loud yet sweet, and sultry yet honest. The songwriting embraces irony in both the lyrics and music; there always seems to be two things happening at the same time with these guys.

SweetBread Jim's is owned by SweetBread Jim, longtime resident of Wheaton, MD. He discovered the band on Craigslist, and bought them for $20 a person. He named the band after himself so that the whole world knows who owns the music. Jim is in charge of the image and Jim is the image. He is sick of working at his Dad's used car lot and living in his parent's English Basement Apartment, and ready to take the world by storm using this powerful rock trio. SweetBread Jim can be seen at most SweetBread Jim's shows along with the Junque Shoppe, where he sells quality used goods at prices under $1.

Blessings and Light! Some Souls Church welcomes all sinners (even minorities) to get the pews sticky at Church Night the second Friday of every month at Black Cat DC! 

Rejoice in favorite hymns like “Tainted Love” and “Like a Prayer.” Receive the holy sacrament of shots-n-tots communion. Revive your community of friends by coming together at the same time.

Church Night features hole-some entertainment that appeals to the average drunk parishioner. Revered Dr. Stevedore Maybelline Bidet Esq. delivers the good news with a fervor he usually only reserves for cats, while Youth Minister, Kathy Piechota, keeps the congregation up to date with important church news. Listen to special music by a local solo musician. Watch Him reveal his intentions through the body of a burlesque extrordinaire. Laugh at a very funny children’s comedian; the kids love it! At the end of the service, dance the night away to a popular rock group!

Some Souls Church couldn’t exist without the monetary assistance of its congregation. Attendees are asked to consider donating $5-10 when the offering plate comes around.
