Armonica's Cosmo remix is a dark and throbbing version that takes you from the beach-driven sunset mood of the original to the dark corners of a club. The cosmic, sparkling melodies lift the track into a climactic swirl, while their Silky rework brings the funk into the mix. Wennink's dreamy vocal is brought to the fore alongside a thumpin' slapped bassline that drives this track through its indie dance-inspired production.

Dizharmonia is made up of Sotiris and Sokratis, two Greeks from Athens sharing the same love for Deep Melodic Techno sounds. With 'Oblivion' we're excited to welcome Der Effekt and Tygr Tygr to ICONYC featuring a couple of fantastic remixes courtesy of Marat Mode and David Lindmer. The Austrian duo have developed a universally loved unique style; dynamic, groovy, deep and hypnotic fusion of genres that perfectly fits in any kind of club or open-air festival. Their releases have always received high acclaim - with support across the board from the who is who is in the world of electronic music.

For 'Oblivion' Der Effekt teamed up with vocalist Tygr Tygr to deliver an irresistible track that will make you move. They kick things off nicely with driving vibes and pounding beats, as they roam effortlessly through melodic rhythms. The energetic chords which are introduced half way through sit wonderfully on top of the driving percussive foundation. As we reach the climax 'Der Effekt' increase the dynamism once again by adding an extra layer of complexity. They up the flow with cleverly programmed drumming and melodic chord elements, all while Tyge Tygr adds the final touches with his deep and sultry voice. 'Oblivion' deserves to be branded elemental in any sense of the word.

On remix duty we welcome Spanish maestro Marat Mode for his debut on ICONYC. Marat Mode who is known for his driving melodic sound with indie dance influences, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive. He created a deep melodic indie mix for the ages. His rework creates a feel-good vibe from the word go, as the atmospheric and driving vibes keep you moving. His remix delivers a smooth edge and nicely effected sounding components that keep building to culminate into a lovely melodic indie groover, that was clearly made with the dancefloor in mind. Very classy.

The second remix comes courtesy of Running Clouds head honcho David Lindmer, whose massive remix takes the energy capacities up a level and increases the drive with stripped back and lucid elements, while transporting 'Oblivion' to the dark side. Like something from yesteryear yet sounding totally renewed and upfront. David basically delivers the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness in David's rework is the key here, as this restrained gem plays out the potential to the fullest, while creating a stunning afterglow of deep infused drums and harmonies. Essential stuff from David.

With the talent on offer, 'Der Effekt feat Tygr Tygr's 'Oblivion' manages to deliver a message of sustained musical relevance in emphatic fashion to warm the soul. Not to be missed! Up-and coming duo Wolf Ear & Fassbender are delivering yet another fruit of their collaboration with new record 'The Glass Mountain'. Out on Strange Town Recordings, the piece is a windy ode full of subtle textures and warm pianos. The simple yet uplifting pattern of the heavy bass harmonizes with sporadic melodies throughout, accompanied by a stabby synth marking a containment in energy that's unleashed in the drop.

A heavier take on the track is delivered next by Israeli-based producer Matan Caspi, making its first appearance on Strange Town Recordings. On his remix, the rolling bass is complemented by a magnetizing background melody and a light percussion that compliments the groove. Owner of his very own 'Outta Limits Recordings' along with fellow veteran Stan Kolev, he sprinkles lush melodies during the full seven minutes of the song. On the main breakdown, a fuzzy synth that has nothing to envy to the 80s' dirtiest guitars builds tension whilst the arrangement progressively hatches back open.

We are very excited to welcome a very famous and talented Egyptian artist on our label, who deliverers 3 outstanding melodic house & techno tracks.

Mohasseb began his music career in the early 2000s and is one of Cairo Jazz Club's main headliners where he has been playing well over a decade. In addition to playing in Pacha Sharm El Sheikh, he has played in Family and Friends and Theatre of Dreams; two of Egypt's biggest festivals. With his fresh take on melodic techno beats, Mohasseb kicked off his international career in Greece in 2015 leading to a series of gigs around the world. His bio includes playing alongside international DJs Adriatique, Denis Horvat, Adana Twins, Claptone, Adam Port and Monolink- to name a few.

For us he made a strong 3 track EP called Walls, that incorporates organic sounds, intriguing synth progressions, grooving basslines, very nice build ups and and melodies.

This EP is a full melodic journey with each song standing out by itself.

Black Rose's Twentythird EP comes from Berlin based artist Guzy with a stunning original track and three massive remixes by Ran Salman, Naeiiv and Erly Tepshi. A soft atmospheric pad surround all the ambience of the original track, while the bassline is warm and smooth and the groove define a really gentle touch on the whole track. The vocals from HOVR fully represent this warm situation and feeling as the words "Skin On skin". In the remix of "Naeiiv" the groove is still warm but defined by a constant clap, more spacey atoms and more distorting elements but always with a soft and elegant touch. The remix from "Ran Salman" is more percussive and groovy thanks to the bouncing bassline. In the drop we can find a robotic synth lead that fit perfectly with groove when the drops starts.
