Etching a musical partnership that draws from the combined roots of IDM, house and techno, 
Mind Against are the Italian native but Berlin based project of Alessandro and Federico Fognini.

The biggest cliché of a “sound that’s hard to pin down”, is realer than gravity when it comes to Mind Against. They coax on psychedelic hooks of the 1980s and dance floor anthems bound traditionally to european soil. This backdrop makes for releases and performances that do well against any canvas.

Melodic Livetape #3 : Remcord "2016 Live Act"

The twelfth edition of the microcastle podcast welcomes label artist Third Son. The London, UK based producer is coming off his second project for us entitled '2042'. Released last month, the collection was stylistically diverse, featuring five unique and sonically distinctive creations. The project earned play and support from Sasha, Maceo Plex, Stephen Bodzin, Agents of Time, Monkey Safari, Raxon and more; while reaching #1, #2 and #4 in Progressive House, Electronica, Deep House and Techno respectively.

For the twelfth edition of our podcast we've chosen a live set of Third Son's from a recent gig at Watergate, Berlin. Over three magical hours he worked through a flow of rugged beats, deep grooves and poignant melodies; featuring fresh music from Rampa, Guy J, Patrice Baumel, Agents of Time, Toto Chiavetta, Gardens of God, Joakim, Johannes Brecht, HearThug and more, along with unreleased gems and choice cuts from his '2042' EP. In 2023 we passed the 50 million listener mark, and Sweet's little sister, Past and Future, our second channel open to all styles, passed the 20 million mark.

With the same passion, we'll soon be celebrating 10 years of the project, and keeping our DNA.
