Constantly reimagining the way they make noise, the Brigado Crew have experimented endlessly to construct this retro-super-futuristic dynamo.

Channeling the groundswell of optimism from the ‘good old days,’ the Brigado Crew work all kinds of collaborative miracles, using modern production techniques to lend the album some depth and tension.

From the live studio recordings made on original 80’s synthesizers to the myriad of feature artists, ‘Symbiosis’ takes a broad brush to the sonic palette.

The ephemerally haunted vocals of Jessica Zese soar over post-disco grooves in the opening track ‘Calamity’. The softly-focused synths of this cut are a balm to the propulsive, industrial heartbeat of the album.

Always upping the ante is Ubbah, who serves up his signature deep, dark techno vibes in many of the album’s peak-time cuts.

More than Human and Haptic embody futurism with a nod to 80’s acid rave, the alienesque vocals of Haptic floating through ‘Voids of Space,’ a cut which is just gagging to be played out on a really loud sound system.

You’ll be leaning into the cascading percussive shakedowns and diving deep into the chant-along lyrics of esteemed British producer & vocalist Thomas Gandey in ‘Find You’, a totally Shazamable cut.

Another secret weapon in your arsenal of dance-floor ready bangers is ‘Face the Music’. Featuring the anthemic vocals of Aves Volare, this cut commands movement, its tremulous basslines creating a sensation of motion that shimmers in the air.

8kays delivers a convincingly hard edge to ‘Robotic Destination’, a hot-blooded, club-focused track that gets all up in your face.

Dipping in and out of post-post-modernism, while reaching far into the great beyond, ‘Symbiosis’ ordains the Brigado Crew as the patron saints of future-forward throwbacks.

Özgür Can is a producer and audio-engineer who has been putting out all manner of house, tech and prog fusions since 2003. He also releases as Autonomi amongst other aliases, and has landed on established labels like Truesoul, Cocoon and Sincopat.

The latest release from Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Paul Hamilton & Anartist to the label for their debut EP. The former, born in Malta and now based in Dubai, is one of the underground's most highly regarded progressive house artists. Paul has found a home on Armada, Balkan Connection, Droid9, Freegrant Music and Perspectives Digital, while his equally impressive DJ skills have seen him perform at Ministry Of Sound (Dubai) and Godskitchen (Dubai). Similarly, Polish born, Israel based producer and DJ Anartist has been a fixture of Tel Aviv's nightlife for over a decade, delighting crowds with his fresh blend of progressive house and melodic house and techno. Also an accomplished producer, Anartist has showcased his music via Beatfreak Limited, Heinz Music and Perspectives Digital. Now coming together for their debut collaborations, Paul and Anartist land on Movement Recordings with 'Dialo', alongside remixes from Julian Nates and Ric Niels.

Returning to the label and providing the first interpretation of 'Dialo' is Ric Niels. Having first appeared on the Greek imprint earlier this year with a contribution to the label's Technical Progress, Vol. 11 collection, the Argentinean artist then returned in April for his first and well received artist EP 'Mermaid'. Now returning for his first remix for the label, Ric turns in a powerful rendition of 'Dialo'. Remarkably fluid and hugely energetic, it's a mix that stays true to the themes from the original, while adding a unique astral quality. Melodic fragments and icy overlays come in waves across the first act, adding a smooth ethereal quality which carries into the main break. Hugely emotive, the centrepiece trails off into a bed of crunchy arps and poignant chord changes, elevating mood as a tasteful build cues an exhilarating final movement

The artist name of this talented lady from Ukraine could also be written on the hull of a shimmering spaceship - S.ONE. Her sound lives up to the scenario in which such a cosmic vessel is usually found, as well: Endless depth, the psychedelic colours of spiral nebulae in the darkness, rifts and ripples in the texture of time and space. Vini Pastori from Sao Paulo is the next up for Dantze. With his EP called ‚No Dialogue‘ he went into bending the known sound of Dantze. He is playing around with the borders of being in or being out of tune. This he combined with much layered synths and untypical sounds to create a different sound built, which is standing on pillars of dance music was we know it.
