With its undertone of sweet melancholia and distinctly ecstatic vibes this tune is made to cause exactly those moments of blissful rapture it was inspired by. Which brings us to yet another 100, namely Kombinat100. In celebration of the special occasion they share one of their previously unreleased hits that was skimmed right from the boiling point of their legendary live sets. Whatever T.T.Z.T. actually stands for - it clearly has to do with earthy, dubby, deep and playful danceability.

About the Ep:
On SVT214 we find Dutch musician and producer Marc Holstege split the bill with previous Stil Vor Talent & Defected alum EdOne on a deep and mesmerising techno incursion comprising five original tracks.

EdOne kicks off proceedings with In the Shadow, a playful piece doused in a quasi-nostalgic mood, decked in dramatic, strain-inducing synths. A tension-filled track, with ample build ups and intense breaks that set the mood for the entire A side. Spiral stays true to its name, building up a story through convoluted layers while carving out big chunks of space through minimal elements. The main runners here are undulating synths, creating hooks and breaks, and aptly timed whistled chants that give the track a sense of mystery. Circle amps up the dark factor a notch, exhibiting eerie and cavernous sounds atop a deadpan lead.

Marc Holsteges first track Bisou subtly commands attention from the first bars by the way of heavy-hitting, subdued percussion. The focal point, however, is a psalm-like chorus, that raises spirits up and guides the melody along with a perky bassline.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, we have Chasing Shadows, a dim track with an overcast mood. A snaking bassline pools underneath the main synth before making a way to a climactic peak point.

It is almost unbelievable but @katermukke's 200th release is knocking on the front door. In the past eight years we were 200 times taken by the hand and sent on a musical journey. For 200 times did big artists, small artists, newcomers and old stagers find together at this musical hotspot. In that time of 200 releases did not only faces, looks and sound carrier change but also the Sound of Katermukke adapted to the times. Still did the musical quality always stay constant. The affectionate curation of label boss @dirtydoering did accompany us through many changes and phases of life, but never failed to delight us. Therefore did he not miss out to team up with a close friend and talented musician to create the jubilee release. @einmusik and Dirty Doering did so with "Centaurio" to write a subtlety developing piece, which conveys a dreamy character in combination with a touch of rave. "Athene" by Einmusik is heavy and convoluted Techno, that goes pretty deep via a kind of 70s scifi synth line. Finally did the boss solely get into it to revive ancient myths with his track "Herakles" via a pithily bassline and atmospheric but mysterious Vocals. After such an astonishing EP there is only left to wait and see what comes with the next 200 releases.

trndmsk: What inspired you to produce the track?

Dirty Doering: We started working with new plug in. It looks like a Commodore c64.

Where did you record it? And how?

We worked at the Einmusika studio in Kreuzberg. Some analog mamchines like moogsub 37 or roland tr-8s and with the software logic pro.

How did the collaboration with Einmusik come about?

We are working for a long time together. After the cooperation for tracks "Lucid" and "Toyi Toyi", we did a new one. Keep going!

Its release number 200 on Katermukke. What does that do to you?

200 hundred release in the last 8 years. When i started with Katermukke, i’ve never expected to get so many releases on the label. I’m really happy with that.

If you look back: What were the most beautiful moments with Katermukke?

There were so many beautiful moments. A lot of showcase at Katerblau in Berlin and around the world. From New York, Turkey, South Africa, Egypt, Mexico, Libanon, Europe to Sydney. Too many for one special moment.

What’s up next after the release? What's next on Katermukke?

The next big thing is the album of Paji on Katermukke in December.

I’m working on new tracks for 2020. Also some cooperations with Einmusik and Nicone. Be curious!

'Just Breathe' which is done Enda Gallery is a lyric and touching deep house track: classy piano chords together with the calm vocals from Enda gave us enough emotions to expand it to few more remixes.
We meet Niko Schwind for the first remix with dark and influenced rework, playing with harmonies and the acid-enveloping bass sounds.
The duo of Berlin-based producers Prismode & Solvane brings the classy deep house notes on their version, closing this release in the pack.
