Having already impressed via a slew of releases for Correspondant, Live At Robert Johnson and his own Biologic Records, DC Salas tees up an impressive release for Futureboogie.  ‘The Weight Of Uncertainty’ EP illustrates the suave sounds that the Brussels born producer has become noted for, and comes backed with a remix from the supremely talented and always on-point I:Cube.

In its original mix, ‘The Weight Of Uncertainty’ dips into a smorgasbord of sound, as touches of Belgian New Beat slide on up against balearic disco tropes for a spectacular body & soul workout.  The legendary French disco architect and Versatile Records mainstay, I:Cube, floats in on a little fluffy cloud for a terrific ambient dance version, fuelled by the kind of IDM brain scrambling sounds once present in the DNA of producers like Carl Craig, B12, Black Dog and Autechre.

On his two other originals, DC Salas gets raw and grungy on ‘Gliding Sound’, its distorted edge adding to the drama composed by the heavy hitting synth lines and the gnarly percussive pattern, whilst ‘They Don’t See It’ introduces some dark acid elements to the chugging rhythm and steely hi-hats anchoring the tracks off-kilter melodies.

‘Pastel Skies’ is the title of the first EP by Paul Schmidpeter on EMPORE. The Nuremberg based artist delivers three strong originals, ranging from percussive grooves over melodic four to the floor moments to broken beats. The EP ends with a remix of ‘Gritty Dreams’ by Belgrad’s talent Illusory, who applies a delicate breakbeat treatment to the original and thereby ends things on an epic note.

This two-tracker showcases everything we love about Krause, the tongue-in-cheek attitude, the anything goes approach in conjunction with anyone dances arrangements. Yet, on „Como Dada“ and „All I Want To Do“ we find him focus particularly on groove and rhythmic patterns. No doubt, two bold tunes ready to heat some floors. Leaves us thinking, what actually does he wanna do? Maybe have some fun? Well, we’ve got a feeling, he’s not the only one...

After kicking off the new year with an EP by the duo „Aliot & Bunbeck“, the second EP comes from a Russian DJ & Producer „Mr Morek“.
Already having released on „Sincopat“ & „Moscoman’s“ „Disco Halal“, he’s no stranger to the electronic music scene anymore and we are happy to welcome him with his debut on SOULFOOLED.

The EP is opened with a track called „Immunity“. A word that, these days finds a lot of attention in different political sections - so also the track breaks through any walls and barriers of genres and stereotypes.
On the second track „you can hear a lot of different fractions of electro house and melodic techno.“, claims Morek. „For me, this is something new and therefore I decided to call it „Ampere House“.
To finish off the EP, Mr Morek has chosen to write something more mysterious & magical. „Arcanum“ sticks to it, though not losing any from of energy, that has been built up through out the entire EP.

Kookmode ended a long creative break two years ago and returned to the studio with releases on Upon You Records, Monaberry and Sangraal. Now he continues with his own interpretation of melodic house, indie dance and electronica with the EP »Brother & Sister«.
The four tracks of the new EP range between dance floor and almost downtempo with many percussive elements. The tracks »Brother« and »Sister« are variations of the same basic theme with thrillingly different characteristics – even if siblings have the same origin, they might develop completely differently.
»Brother« dances playfully and melodically over a dark bass carpet which will stick in your memory, while »Sister« moves with fragile figures slightly undercooled over a nicely heaving underground. The hypnotically relaxed »Endless« comes across as funky as the acid inspired »The Gift«. Energetic and relaxed music, not only for siblings.

The reference 80 is presented by our partner "Calystarr" this great artist from the south of Spain, is improving by leaps and bounds his musical production, great in the studio and better person, Adrian focuses this time on raising an ep with a sound design very based on the sound of the eighties, powerful clenches and conduntendes rhythms to create rich and laborious compositions when working in the booth with them.

Cmind and James Rod, present different versions of Claystarr's material, Cmind takes it to his new wave terrain while James presents a more underground and modern sound for this version.
