"Having already appeared on Flying Circus Recordings with a killer collaboration with Maga back in 2019, DJ & producer Nhii goes on a solo venture with his new single ‘Closer’ featuring Shrii. Remixes are provided by Yulia Niko and Rony Seikaly, and the package is sealed off with another sweet production from the Brookyln based German artist.

In its original mix, ‘Closer’ is a pulsing and peppy slice of mystical and engrossing dance music, lightly dipped in reverb, and featuring a infectious vocal performance from Shrii, all delivered with the sophistication and elegance one would expect for a Flying Circus release.

Mannheim based Yulia Niko supplies the first of the remixes of ‘Closer’. The rising DJ/producer has hugely impressed via releases on esteemed labels like Watergate, 8Bit, Rebellion and Get Physical, and on her remix deploys a effervescent acid line and dubby chords whilst chopping up and twisting Shrii’s vocal for a pure transcendental workout.

Lebanese/US producer Rony Seikaly turns in the second remix on this bustling EP. Fueled by an early love of US house music, Seikaly has gone on to forge a sound and style that has graced labels like Moon Harbour, Voltaire Music as well as his own Stride imprint. His deep and seductive remix really works a treat here.
Closing the EP, Nhii pops in a second original production with ‘White Box’. 
Melodic synths bounce off a mechanical yet funky rhythm, soft kicks and deft percussion propel this hypnotizing and graceful track, and if a fitting finale to a stand out release on Audiofly’s established label."

Due for release in November, Echoes of Memoria is the eagerly anticipated debut long player from Ameli Paul. A strikingly artistic project that sits somewhere in between electronica, alternative synthpop, breakbeat and even operatic excursions, the Berlin-based outfit has created a truly personal and contemporary work of art that breaks away from normative convention. 

The album was created over the past five years, with each track on the album representing a period in Ameli Paul's turbulent life. With an early Voice message [2016-08-21] (one of the tracks from the album), Ameli inspired Paul into making music together and a love romance between two people was born. 

The melting pot of a trained singer and awarded jazz musician with a successful electronic music producer, the common experiences, impressions, smells, emotions and encounters processed by both Ameli and Paul over the past seven years have shaped their unique musical signature. Overall Echoes of Memoria is a musical diary about transitions, inner turmoil and ultimately their break-up, which all reverberate together to build this monument, honoring and cherishing the countless precious moments they’ve shared. 

Playing live in renowned clubs and festivals, Ameli Paul are increasingly known for casting a spell on their audience. It’s this unique, multifaceted sound that is effortlessly melting genre boundaries and listeners’ hearts around the world. To accompany the album release in November, Ameli Paul will be supporting iconic German producer and internationally celebrated live act Monolink on his huge European winter tour. Taking on over a dozen shows across Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic in just five weeks, the tour kicks off at Progresja, Warsaw on November 9 and concludes at Zoom, Frankfurt on December 10. Flow Music is an Australian record label and its new melodic house/techno release welcomes the return of Josh Richards, and also includes a remix by The Journey.

A talented young artist from Melbourne, Josh Richards dropped his first-ever official release via Flow Music in 2022 and since then he has been building unstoppable momentum. He is a master at finding the balance between organic textures and powerful synth sounds to create melodic grooves with an expansive atmosphere. Still in his early 20's he already has a mature sound that showcases a natural talent for making music.

On remix duty, The Journey is a duo of Australian artists from Melbourne who together run the highly respected record label, UGENIUS. Not only have they featured many tracks and remixes on their own imprint, but their soaring style or enrapturing melodic house/techno can also be heard on imprints such as Stil Vor Talent and Bedrock.

"Anthurium" is the solo original track on this release and it unfolds with grace and beauty as the tranquil pads of the intro are joined by a throbbing bassline, melody-rich stabs and enchanting vocals. Its cinematic breakdown is a fusion of spiralling synths and delicate woodwind instruments, which subside when the drums come crashing back in for an impactful moment of release.

The Journey's remix of Anthurium is a techy version that adds a new pulsating bassline and additional high-end percussion and explosive claps. After the epic breakdown section, they add an arpeggio synth line that compliments the original's vocal.
