Well known for their unique concepts and ideas, Steyoyoke continues to surge forward and launches yet another annual vinyl project. 'Couple Affair' is both innovative and exciting, as it channels all the skills and talent already residing within the label. Two artists are paired together to collaborate on one track, allowing Steyoyoke to streamline their skills and co produce freely within the realms of the family. The outcome is four polished originals, all exclusively created for the Steyoyoke 'Couple Affair' vinyl series.
 
'Couple Affair 01' sees Nick Devon teamed up with BLANCAh, Dahu with MPathy and Soul Button works along side both, Nick Devon and BLANCAh, for a collaboration with each of them. 

Soul Button & BLANCAh kick things off with 'Rising Silence', an unmistakably simple track that is beautifully balanced between dreamy synth lines, clean hitting drums and layers of snappy high hats. It's hauntingly delicate with embellishments of intensity and emotional longing.

The 'Shattered' collaboration shows Dahu staying true to his roots and reveals MPathy's more sinister side. Infiltrated with a strong techno presence, this track also carries a subtle progression to it, which is built upon a tapestry of dark chord progressions and murky soundscapes.

The Soul Button & Nick Devon partnership gives birth to 'Fading Light', a wholesome melodic track which is generously crafted with that ever present and distinguished Steyoyoke sound.  Alluringly, hypnotic and almost trance inducing, this track is all-consuming and confines you to place of refined aural pleasures.

The last duo of artists to team up are Nick Devon & BLANCAh with their creation 'Harmstrings'. Well defined by its vigorous energy, 'Harmstrings' is the type of track that induces a heightened sense of mystery and broodiness. The melody is both dark and ominous, with a backdrop of swirling synths and stabbing percussion.

Zeitraffer Records is a record label in the realm of electronic dance music, based in Germany. It was founded in 2015 by Christian M, who is its owner and managing director. The idea goes back a few years, but was implemented completely only now for financial reasons. That is why Zeitraffer Records is still at the beginning of its career. Through the long-cherished dream of self- produced and distributed music, individual and diverse sound elements could be collected over the years for music production, which now mark the sound of Zeitraffer Records as unmistakable, fresh and innovative and thus have the potential to be club hits. By deliberately missing collaborations or other influences exercised by third parties, Zeitraffer Records represents original personal sound with recognition value. Right from the inception of its idea of music to video production, merchandise, marketing, gigs and so on, everything remain within its own production, whereby a reliable basic concept with flexible elements is provided. Combining forces, Audiofly and Patrice Bäumel draw on unique inspirations from the desert to deliver the monumental Atacama on Crosstown Rebels. Having focused solely on his own productions in the past, label boss Damian Lazarus steps away for the first time to complete this exceptional release with a profound re-shape.

The hypnotic Atacama intricately builds with a certain intensity that never drops, stimulating the senses and transporting the mind as deep, grumbling pads drift in and out of play. Damian Lazarus remembers “the first moment I heard this track I knew there was something very special about it, not only did it strike me as a killer club record but I also felt the textures completely appropriate to my own experiences in the Atacama desert.” On the flip, Damian changes gear as a deep, chugging beat leads the way through an impressive re-shape of the original.

Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito aka Audiofly have established a creative empire, which includes two record labels and their Flying Circus global party brand. They met Patrice during a US tour and immediately hit it off. “It wasn't long after that we decided to invite him to Barcelona for a session that proved to be nothing short of Inspirational.”

Internationally renowned DJ and producer Patrice Bäumel has had a busy start to 2017 with a release on Tale Of Us’ Afterlife imprint, plus remixes for Sasha & Policia and Depeche Mode amongst others. He truthfully said of the this release, “it's a labour of love that came together within a few hours of jamming in the studio, unlike many 'collabs' this one really felt like we all equally contributed to the end result.“

“Hats Off“ starts with a bleeping and continues softly and peacefully. A perfect club tune followed by “Sienka“ with this little extra of funk. So now “Better Be Nice“ while dark basses are crashing in and techno tunes make their way. After “Tailwind“ and “Radio Star“ you remember that darkness gets always replaced by sunlight. Make your peace and get “Back To Bed“ till you recovered and under control. Finally „Prince Charming“ guids you to a beautiful place outside. A deep breath and you’re ready to go back where you started.

Just in time for the silly season, Stil vor Talent presents The Last Trip 2 - a 10 track mini compilation that is laden with aural gifts from five international techno producers.

Laying the foundation for this club-ready collection of tracks is French producer Kiko, bringing a certain je ne sais quoi with the full spectral ‘Echoes of Light’ and the multifaceted ‘Panavision.’

Thousand Sirens follows up with with the driving psychedelia of ‘Kahlil,’ priming the dancefloor for an intrepid journey with ‘Humanizm,’ a trippy, bass-heavy track interwoven with powerful, thought-inspiring vocal samples.

Hot to trot VNTM commands attention with his unique riff on dark, underground techno interspersed with progressive melodies in. ‘Echoist’ packs a punch, and ‘Orange Skies’ delivers the roundhouse kick with its upbeat, squelchy synths.

Drunken Kong raises the tempo with the expansive ‘Uncovered,’ laced with exotic strings in a nod to his Asian heritage. ‘The Eye’ certain to engage the dancefloor with its charismatic tones and dynamic percussion.

You would be forgiven for expecting a genie to jump out of a bottle as you travel through the lush soundscapes of Heerhorst’s ‘Magic Carpet.’ Riding into the sunset is ‘1001,’ rounding off the compilation with its special brand of hearty, industrial darkness.

So deep you’ll choke on it, so dark it will take your retinas a while to readjust to the light, it’s safe to say this is a compilation for the dirtiest of dancefloors.
