Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is around the corner. And just like last year @chrom-recordings is more than ready for it with our annual ADE Sampler ànd a 2-days label showcase on Friday & Saturday! On our ADE Chrom Sampler 2024 we present 10 brand-new exclusive tracks, covering the full spectrum from Progressive House and Indie Dance to Melodic House & Techno. 

Of course, we have many familiar Chrom faces on board for this important release: our own label manager Pedro Mercado teaming up with Shemsu, Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy De Gage, Paul Sawyer, Messier, and Yves Eaux teaming up with Glorionix. 

But we also take the opportunity to welcome some new faces to our label: ANDREW BLCK from Moldova, Diego Costa aka DNCS from Uruguay and Ale F & Kari Bazzo from Brazil. 

We hope you enjoy our selection, and if you are in Amsterdam for ADE we hope to see you at our own Label Showcase on Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th. 

Just like last year we are teaming up with our close friends from @Tanzgemeinschaft. We have no less than 15 international artists over 2 days (both days from 18:00 PM till 02:00 AM), including a lot of artists from our ADE 2024 Sampler, at bar The Flying Dutchman (opposite the Amsterdam Central Station)!

Nach dem Release seines Tracks „For Reasons Unknown“, der via trndmsk zum freien Download veröffentlicht wurde, hat @jonas-woehl ein neues Stück konzipiert: „Lines“. „Der Track entstand während der Arbeit an meinem zweiten Album, das ich dann auf kleine Release splitten wollte“, erklärt der Dresdner. Mit „Lines“ wollte er eine progressive Nummer kreieren, der mit einem etwas längeren Break als sonst auskommt. „Ich sehe in dem Track ein gewisses Potential und wollte ihn so schnell wie möglich an die Öffentlichkeit bringen.“ (...)

As we check off another year for Steyoyoke Recordings, we would like to thank you for joining us on this wonderful journey and appreciate your continued support. To mark our 6th Anniversary, we invited some of the best producers to create remixes of our favourite Steyoyoke tracks of 2017. The release will feature remixes from Hernan Cattaneo, Audio Junkies, Martin Roth, Simon Doty, Nairo and Township Rebellion. The anniversary vinyl will be showcased and sold at our 6th Anniversary Party at Ritter Butzke in Berlin.

Opening the release is Hernan Cattaneo and Audio Junkies’ take on BLANCAh’s “Talus”. The result is pure energy with playful rhythm, soothed by melodic synths. Reinventing Soul Button’s “Paramour” is Martin Roth, who certainly adds a bit of forthright edge and deeper undertones to the original mix. Next up is Simon Doty and Nairo’s version of Nick Devon’s “Overflow”, which unleashes vivid elements scattered across heavy bass lines. The fourth and last track in this release is Clawz SG and Nick Devon’s “Syndicate” remixed by Township Rebellion. Saturated with explosive attitude, this remix surely won’t let one stand still!

About Iulianus:
Born in the city of Sao Paulo (Brazil) and currently 29 years old, studied music passing through instruments like guitar, flute, until arriving at piano his greatest passion, was where he really found himself in the music. Mar Dean - Come with Me EP // 

Coming in for a full on Hive Audio label debut after already contributing a track to our „Summer Slices Compilation 2018“ is Mar Dean, another long standing activist from the Swiss underground now aiming at international dancefloors with his „Come With Me EP“ release.

Opening with the title track „Come With Me“ Mar Dean approaches high energy Tech House in a truly uplifting fashion, draws inspiration from classic HardBag build-ups and finally triggers ecstatic crowd reaction with a rolling monster of a bassline accompanied by masterly crafted melodic elements in motion. A true banger with a slightly progressive twist.

Dealing with „Volcano Pigs“ we see Mar Dean coming from a slightly different angle, catering a stompy, well sculpted and defo more Techno-leaning foundation drumwise before opening things up with intricate melodic interplay and slightly dubbed out House stabs, hard filtered vocal samples and ghostly FX for spine-tingling moments on the dancefloor.
