Jackson Pollock stymied arts fans for decades as they tried to figure out what source of color was he using, until now. Wrote a song about it called "Manganese Blue".

I lived in Hatfield in the 1990s and for several years, the Hatfield Hellion,  An orange truck that can ride and spin on its back wheels, as a crazy cut up in parades, fairs and events around town.  Recently there was an article in the local newspaper that brought back memories.  I wrote a song about it.

Titanic's Sister ship, Britannic, sank 108 years ago!  For the first time in more than a century, artifacts have been recovered from the wreck of the Britannic, the sister ship of the Titanic, which sank in the Aegean Sea in 1916 after striking a German mine during World War I.   I was intrigued, so I wrote a song about it.

Stone Story

In a warming world, places like Amherst can be an oasis where townsfolk have creatively added more shade to lessen the harm of what are known as ‘heat island effects.’ These are places that have warmed more intensively than surrounding rural areas and where air-conditioners, furnaces and heat from vehicles tend to trap the heat in a more concentrated way in places like a downtown.
