Baikal Nomads presents a compelling organic house release by Latyshev which also features remixes from Lama's Dream, Matt Jah and Ksky.
Based in Tulum, Baikal Nomads is a record label that has championed artists ranging from Zuma Dionys to Guy Maayan, and this is the first time Latyshev has released original music via the imprint.
Latyshev is a Spanish artist who is returning to Baikal Nomads after featuring a remix on the record label in 2020, and this release features two of his original tracks. He is also the label owner of Alae Records, which shares his enchanting style that blends ethnic instruments and organic percussion with uplifting synths.

This release comes via Betelgeize's own record label It's Good To Be A Tree, but he has also featured tracks and remixes on other respected imprints including the likes of Exotic Refreshment LTD, Serafin Audio Imprint and Leveldva.
As a musical project, Betelgeize was born on Burning Man and his passion for experimentation constantly forces him to explore new things. This album was inspired by theatre and fairy tales. In essence, it is part of a fairy tale that connects all the tracks with a storyline.

Previously famed for his work as Midnight Runners, Harry Septiandri has now been making merry as Munir for many years. Here he comes to File Under Disco for the first time, bringing with him the exotic and intoxicating mid-tempo madness of 'Tuhan' - a funk-break-driven slab of nu-disco hedonism rich in nods to the musical culture of the Middle East and India. Its' infectious and eccentric in equal measure, suggesting that it should make an impression on the dancefloor. Tricky Disco provides the accompanying remix, which if anything drags the track further towards peak-time dancefloors. The Scottish producer utilises a low-slung disco groove, over which he adds melancholic melodies, spacey noises, oodles of additional percussion and selected snippets of Septiandri's original instrumentation.
