Human was originally released on Zero Tolerance in 2001 and was one of the label's most iconic releases. It was one of the most definitive records written specifically for the Sunny dance floor originally intended only for Melbourne audiences, but quickly gained attention from all over the world and was championed by everyone from Sasha, John Digweed to Steve Lawler. It was distributed world wide as a single on the cover of Mixmag and featured on compilation's from John Creamer & Stephane K, Gab Oliver and more.
We are now proud to announce a 2023 remix package from some serious heavy hitters from Australia and around the world with nine outstanding remixes that represent Zero Tolerance's future as well as past.
Melbourne powerhouse Mike Rish makes his debut on the label with a deep and moody mix that draws inspiration from Zero Tolerance's origins whilst propelling the sound into the future. This dark and percussive remix pays homage to the roots of the label whilst crafting a sonic experience that feels both timeless and fresh.

Bursting onto the Progressive House scene in mid-2020, Fausto Javier Loza has carved out quite a name for himself with his FJL production moniker. Since a debut on Balkan United, the Argentinean producer has found his music allied to such esteemed imprints as sister Madlochs Sound Avenue and 3rd Avenue, Roger Martinezs HIGHER STATES and Mangos all-conquering Mango Alley. Now the Rosario resident from the province of Sante Fe, debuts on Proportion with a 3-track EP of the highest order as FJL presents his Alter Ego / Losstower / Rare Wizards EP. With a deep, fizzing bassline narrative running throughout the triptych, Alter Ego is a chunky rhythmic powerhouse that sees a chest-thumping kick paired with a deliciously grooved bass pattern creating a sublime rolling pattern. A kaleidoscopic array of effects and risers are scattered across the 6-minute piece as a delicate arpeggiated melody gradually evolves from the low-end foundation. Pulsating white-noise washes and a hypnotic dance-floor vibe add to proceedings in an impressive opener. A Tech House vibe infuses Losstower with its plethora of stereo-panned effects and sub-bass groove. A series of cleverly treated vocal effects add to the sonic melange with their eerie overtones, while meticulously programmed hats and shakers provide dancefloor urgency. Subtle melodic flourishes add to the overall feel and the result is a production masterclass from the FJL studio. The final offering sees Rare Wizards immediately showcase its club-friendly credentials through house rhythm and hypnotic bass sequence. In keeping with its partner tracks, a flurry of deep, dark and powerful effects make their presence felt alongside evolving textures and immaculate melodic touches. Layer upon layer of evermore intricate sounds come to the fore, felt especially keenly at the powerfully pulsing breakdown, before returning to the dramatic rhythmic urgency and plethora of effects that create a track bringing to mind such maestros such as John Digweed, Quivver and Jamie Stevens.

Dutch veteran producer Joost van der Vleuten, better known as Namatjira, delivers a crisp three-track EP on Paul Hazendonk's Manual Music imprint, under its MNL sub-label. This release marks another chapter in his long-standing dedication to the progressive house sound. 

Featuring three brand-new original compositions, 'Darien,' 'Distinctness,' and 'Chaco' , the EP showcases Namatjira's signature melodic depth and refined production, continuing his trusted tradition in the genre. It's a succinct yet compelling addition to the discography of one of progressive house's most steadfast artists.
