This duo has a very personal music style, with Melodic Techno as main genre, but with a lot of cinematic elements that imprints an special flavour to their music. Solid beats, dark synths, hipnotic atmospheres and complex effects will make you feel very peculiar emotions.

The EP is completed with 2 strong remixes, by the also french producer Atribút, and the duo based on Zurich LUMME & Miguel

Bach Wrecker & Lugubre - Semina (Original Mix)- [Univack Records]

Far from being a newcomer in the French electronic music scene, Hélène Brahem, who first evolved under the alias Babylene, has been a musician, DJ, and producer for more than 15 years.
Hélène started her musical journey playing the harp for more than a decade and has been a rising talent since her inception. Recognizable by her musical style, Hélène is renowned for creating hypnotic sounds that are both melodic and energetic. Her first track ‘‘Airspace,’’ released in 2011 on MINIMALMINUTS, remained the label’s best-seller for months. She has also played in some of the best electro clubs in France like Batofar, Nouveau Casino, and BT59 to name a few. Her musical influences include the likes of UMEK, Bass Kleph, and Oliver Huntemann.
For our last release of the year, we are incredibly pleased to present Hélène Brahem’s EP ‘’Bird’’. For this EP, Hélène composed three original tracks, mixing melancholic and enveloping sounds paired with a dark and ominous atmosphere. The first track and namesake of the EP, ‘’Bird’’ starts slow and heady, then transitions into a colorful and contemplative universe, with melodic marimba lines running throughout. ‘‘Automn’’, the second track, offers trippy and
vaporous synth layers balanced with sharp metallic sounds — transporting us to an intense meditative state. Last but not least, ‘’Wood’’ is the somber track that will push you headfirst into uncharted mental contemplations. Powerful crescendos lead to spatial drops, a myriad of sounds surrounds us, exciting our senses. This whole EP is an invitation to let go and be guided by the music.
Three remixes complete this EP. Only 22 years old, Raphael Hofman is a Dutch producer based in Berlin who started DJing and organizing events at the age of 16. Know for his deep and dark soundscapes, surrounded by different rhythmic structures, he offers a dancey techno house remix of ‘‘Wood’’ that will leave no one unmoved.
On his side, Skøllaris spoils us with two wonderful remixes of ‘’Wood.’’ Skøllaris is a French producer sharing his life between Paris and Berlin. He has built a mesmerizing universe where the harmony of intense low frequencies and moving melodies tell an epic story. In his first remix, he takes us into the abyss with acid sounds and an unapologetic bassline. In the second remix, the Late-Night Mix, the artist reworked the track to make it a techno dancefloor banger,
ready to burn down the house with brutal drops and a crazy bassline to match.

PREMIERE: Hélène Brahem - Wood (Raphael Hofman Remix) [Curiosity Music]

'After a wide range of beautiful autumn releases, Heinz Music is now ready to introduce to you a 4-track EP by the Danish artist duo The Hunts and their close friend Jakob de Wittig. Hailing from Copenhagen, these two found each other through their love for music, a partnership that has lead to many beautiful dance floor moments, and now also four fantastic tracks ready to set sail along a magnificent remix by the label boss himself, Marcus Meinhardt. 

“Too Weird Not To Dance” is the title track. A driving groove immediately catches your attention leading you towards the weird world of synths and the dark vocals. Escalating sounds twist and twirl, building up massive momentum while the heavy, purring bassline hits right where it should.

Secondly, “Ride It” picks up the pace. Elegant drum work keeps the flow of the groove funky and catchy, and when the synth and whispering vocals enter the playground you know you are in for a ride. “Pastor Sovs” builds on quirky synths and a theatric vocal element that underlines the positive atmosphere of the track. On point drums build a solid base, but it is all about the fun in this one.

“Spank For A Dime” is an explosion of energy. It's driving and powerful bassline leads the way, while raw vocals and a savage synth is like a trip down the rabbit hole. There is just no knowing where this night is going to end. 

Marcus Meinhardt rounds up the EP with his take on “Too weird not to dance”. In a masterful showcase of molding original elements and making them your own, Meinhardt does what he does best. An enchanting and majestic tune thrills you with the longing synths and soft percussions, leading you into a fierce drop. It is a fury of emotions taking the lead, sending your soul straight into the night.

Dystopian Spoken Word poetry and the feverish pounding of a groove that reminds us with a nasty smile of those days when parents were still worried when they heard Techno booming from the rooms of their children. Keeping up the spirit of those old days, Kernel Existence and Pauly create a futuristic banger that reflects the cravings of the time we live in like neon lights on a dark puddle in the urban backyard of some club. All these Sci- Fi connotations make @greenlakeproject the obvious choice for a Spuermaschine remix. Spiked with a solid dose of Acid and subtle melodic drama their version surely lives up to the intense atmosphere and excessive catchiness of the original.

Berlin’s Ruede Hagelstein is a long-time fixture of the Berlin music scene, with releases on some of the city’s premiere labels, including Watergate, Souvenir and Upon You. He’s been a longtime friend of Do Not Sit as well, including his Naive Kunst EP in 2019.

He returns to the label with production partner, Justin Evans for his Scirocco EP. Featuring two complimentary tracks - the heavier, arpeggiated sound of the title track, combined with the slow burn of “Chamsin”.
