Sisko Electrofanatik returns to his label, Gain Records, with the release of his new 15-track techno album, 'Starboy' in celebration of his 20-year career.
This is Sisko Electrofanatik's first album, and it's a dynamic selection that showcases the Italian techno maestro at his very best. The album orientates around the peak time techno style that is trademark to his sound, while also embracing styles including progressive, electro, downtempo, raw and acid.
Based in Rome, Sisko Electrofanatik first broke onto the scene two decades ago when he was a regular feature of Carl Cox's record label, Intec. His captivating use of melody, intelligent sample selection, and energising percussion, have made him one of techno's most esteemed producers.
His music is regularly set listed by techno's most iconic DJs, and he has been signed to prestigious record labels including Alan Fitzpatrick's We Are The Brave, Monika Kruse's Terminal M, Spartaque's Codex, and many others of equal calibre.
Gain Records is Sisko Electrofanatik's own record label, and it's a globally respected imprint that regularly places inside of Beatport's Top 100 sales chart. It has a forward-thinking and innovative reputation, and Sisko Electrofanatik regularly uses it as a platform to release his own music.
Carl Cox has already supported tracks off this album in his DJ sets, such as the final track, "Alter Ego."
The album is a dynamic selection that sets the scene with the dystopian pads and suspense building acid of, "Starboy." The album then gets the listener locked in with the uplifting pads and hulking bass of, "Thrust."
"Ziggurath" is dark and brooding with it's throbbing bassline and electrifying lead synth. The next two tracks, "Syntagma," and "Zork," continue on the same peak time vibe, then "Opale" has a raw and hypnotic groove.
The seventh track, "Get Lost" features the voice of Lory who is a singer from Rome, and it's a melodic techno track with an emotive vocal. "Ad Astra" picks up the pace again with its dark and hammering groove.
"Elements' featuring Leah Rose keeps the dark atmosphere, but has an extended breakdown with a powerful vocal. Track ten is the downtempo "Acidland," which is a trippy slice of electronica with acid synths and cinematic pads.
"Imnot" lifts the intensity with its high-octane groove and dubby pads, then "Diapason" is a deep minimal track with house influences. "Supernatural" brings things back to peak time, then the tense pads of "Fable" is the penultimate track, before "Alter Ego" closes the release with its hypnotic flow.

Welcome to the seventh show of A Darker Wave Extra, our brand new format of occasional shows presented by Jacki-E & P-Mac, with a one hour mix by the show's presenters in the first half featuring the latest and best of the new techno releases and a guest mix by leading underground Techno DJs in the second.

In our mix in the first hour there’s new releases and promos from Space 92 & Charles D, Charlotte de Witte, Adam Beyer, Mari Ferrari, Annie Hill and lots more.

The guest mix in the 2nd hr is by Tobi Tobermann, a DJ / Producer from Frankfurt-am-Main in Germany. He first became interested in techno in the 1990’s. His influences include Sven Väth, Emmanuel Top & Chris Liebing. His sound has also been shaped by the DJs who played at the legendary club U60311 in Frankfurt-am-Main. After some years away from the scene he has been actively back on the decks since 2020. He makes tracks in collaboration with Denis Nocken and they have published a track every month since April 2024. Their latest track “Disconnection” is included in the mix you’re about to hear and every track in the mix is by Dennis & Tobi.

US DJ and Afro House producer IAMDJDRAKE joins forces with outstanding Nigerian songstress Jemimah Eze once again on the intoxicating new single ‘Omalicha’ (meaning ‘Beautiful’), complete with a set of breathtaking Afro House reworks courtesy of Moroccan rising talent, Wnoise. Ramping up the emotion, Wnoise delivers a cinematic melancholy Afro House groove, drizzled with heart wrenching piano melodies and intense synth hooks that wrap around Jemimah’s exquisitely vocals, including a dramatic breakdown that erupts on the dance floor. Also on the promo package is IAMDJDRAKE’s smooth Original Mix, delivering a sensual soulful R&B tinged House groove underpinned by a deep signature bass, seamlessly tailored for both pool-siders and clubbers alike.
DJ Drake (Celebrity DJ) is an entrepreneur and has been DJing for over 25 years, performing on stage with music industry giants including Busta Rhymes, DMX, Cameo, Chris Brown, Keyshia Cole & more. He is recognized in the US and internationally for playing all genres of music, is a producer, remixer, and a member of the Fleet DJ’s collective. A favourite for 10 years on US commercial radio stations, he now guests on SiriusXM and curates the Afro-Experience on Data Transmission Radio. Out now on Terminal M, Joyhauser unveil the long-awaited 2025 Version of their techno weapon ‘Elements’ - dropping alongside a slick remix from Kos:mo.

First released in 2019, ‘Elements’ quickly became a peak-time favourite, built on surging synths and explosive drops. Now, six years later, the Belgian duo give it a fresh coat of fire.

This 2025 Version keeps the core energy intact but ups the ante with sharper percussion, heavier bass, and an even more hypnotic build. It’s leaner, darker, and hits harder - tailored for modern warehouse systems.

Joining the rework is Kos:mo, who twists the track into a deeper, more melodic space. Swapping the raw punch for moody tension, his remix leans into rolling grooves and eerie atmospheres - perfect for those after-hours moments.

Both cuts reflect Terminal M’s ongoing focus on pushing timeless techno with a futuristic edge.

The update is already doing damage in Joyhauser’s sets. Expect to hear this all summer.
