Beta Music are making a strong, enticing entrance to Swerve Digital with the debut release 'Felt this Way EP', a 4-track release which showcases their eclectic style evoking all senses of energy, emotion and power. The lead track Felt This Way has been remixed by Casey Spillman and a collaboration effort with Jame Moorfield & J Fellowes.

Felt This Way carries a tantalisingly heavy aura throughout the composition. The intensity of the elongated bass notation and its spatially separated sounding mixdown for the effects, percussion and the sparse synth stabs tells a dark yet harrowing story with the accompaniment of the simplistic, yet sombre vocal sample.

Calling Me has the opposite in its intensity and emotion that Felt This Way emits. Through the crowded ambiance in the intro, bright light shines at the other end in the form of a soothing synth sequence which intensifies the purity in the mood and atmosphere. With all of this, there is this constant sense of drive and energy with the rhythmic patterns between the kick drums, bassline and the accompanying synths.

With recent signings to Defected, Casey Spillman takes Felt This Way, strips back the whole track and its intensity, and creates a beautifully hypnotising remix. All the elements and instruments are constantly evolving, shifting and changing, generating a mesmerizing listening experience.

Kicking it up a notch, Jame Moorfield and J Fellowes comes together in a collaborative effort to produce a funk-filled remix of Felt This Way. The bassline’s full rounded sound and groovy staccato sequencing instantly hits you face first, commanding you to dance. The synth stabs and the vocal sample, whilst carrying the same dark energy in the vocal, creates the perfect happy medium in emotion, when combined in the track, carries through one consistent vibe of pure energy.
