Coming mid-January, rising techno star Paruballar launches Swerve Digital off with his stomping Techno EP Propaganda / Deception, with a remix from Ramin Rezaie.

Propaganda, a dark and twisted grooving track, tells a full story with his intense build-ups and explosive sounds.
Deception, with the lighter tone of the EP, has this metallic raw edge to it and still delivers with its insane sounds.
Ramin Rezaie's remix of Propaganda leaves no head unturned with his trippy sound-field experimentation and heavy leads.

2tone Records come with a huge ninth release from one very talented producer, Lee Pearce. He has really produced a solid, unique sound for 2tone and the house scene in general.

First, he leads the EP with 'Never Alone' and does not disappoint! Bringing his garage influenced drums and bass line, this track definitely rolls with its catchy, dark, vocal.

Following 'Never Alone', 2tone Records' co-manager, Harry Ley, brings a huge twist to the release with his very dark and minimal remix. This one will rumble a big sound system for sure!

Next we have 'If Speakers Could Speak' which really does exactly what it says on the tin. Bringing a really colourful mix with a deep, rolling bass line to carry the track through the parties.

If you didn't think the first three tracks were enough, then Lee comes with great verity to the EP with 'Massive For The Acid'. With Lee's original drum sound, he has a different approach with a classic 303 acid bass line to bring even more originality to the release!

And finally he concludes his EP with 'I Believe'. A deep, relaxed and more stripped-back mix to his other tracks. This one shows Lee Pearce is capable of bringing a wide verity to his releases without taking away the original sound, telling a story from the first to last track.

Lee Pearce makes his label debut with 2 original cuts and a remix from Mhod, forming his 'If You Must EP'. Typically tech clad flavours make up the guts of the EP with tough rolling drums and deep shaking bass.

The title track original delivers head bopping bass and soft stabs over an infectious spoken vocal. Mhod puts his twist on the title track by roughing things up with a deeper, more driving bassline and a real percussion workout that carries the track. This provides a great dimension on the original and provides an edge to take into the darker, later sets. 'The Power' is the groove provider on the release with a slightly more funk influenced foundation diced up with chunky beats.

This release has already seen early support from Mark Knight, Richy Ahmed, Monday Club, DJ Caspa, ItaloBros, Elias Tzikas, Black Girl/White Girl and Jimmy Switch.

Black Girl / White girl a doublet originating from the cool city of Amsterdam have been on fire lately with some heavenly releases on labels such as 'MadTech, Love & Other & Safe Music'. They're showing a great tide of popularity throughout the underground music scene and seem to be showing no sign of stopping anytime soon. Moving onto their next release forth-coming on 'Straight Ahead Music'. This cut consists of some poppy percussion and drum elements to create a jacking rhythm, gracefully being blended by some atmospheric pads and leads piloting the transitions into a paradise of warehouse utopia.

Party People is as the song is entitled, the perfect song for party people, with its tribal-infused percussive beats and booming, grooving and deep bassline. With its classic catchy vocal hooks, robotic voices chanting the track name, and clever loops and effects automated into the vocal, the intensity and vibe is prominent throughout and the energy consistently flows with upmost perfection.

Of the two original tracks, Schemin’ contains even more classic vocal samples, with more focus on the swinging low, bumpin’ and jumpin’ bassline. The prominent percussion pattern throughout the track enhances the swing and rhythm of this funky number. If you want an exhilarating breakdown delivering a consistent heightening build and euphoric intensity followed by a chilling vocal sample saying “stop scheming”’, this is the one for you.

Making his debut and his entrance into the world of the music industry, Solo Tamas comes in with a mighty remix of Party People. The remix they have brought to us consists of a massive, well-mixed bassline filling a huge frequency range, clever arpeggiated synth lines, sharp cuts and chops of the lead vocal, a phat punchy kick and a huge amount of energy.
