"Exodia" is a melancholic club song. It shows Mensik's ambient music background, but also the new artistic territory, that he's exploring now after a series of DJ sets across Europe and Latin America. It's the perfect example of the atmosphere, where you can cry at the club. You feel sad, but also happy and full of relief at the same time.

⍈ Mensik tells us: "My new music is the result of an evolution of the past few years building a musical path, searching for new horizons through the diversity in music. When I first got into music I was making a lot of ambient and experimental music, I've always liked how it makes you feel to listen to a song that can really touch your feelings and mix it into a bunch of colors and textures, I think with this record I wanted to recreate that feeling but for the dancefloor."

[ENG] ✿ Atosigado is the project name of Oscar Landgrave, originally from Tijuana, Baja California (currently residing in Hermosillo, Sonora). Since the project's formation in 2020, his sound has been in constant transformation, encompassing many genres such as ambient, noise, IDM, modern classical, sound collage, progressive electronic, hardcore techno, and deconstructed club.

In 2023, the project began to shift, focusing on experimentation with dance and percussive music, incorporating #Cumbia, #Tribal, #Guaracha, #Reggaeton, and #BrazilianFunk into its sound. It merges previously explored genres with others such as Footwork, UK Garage, Jersey Club, Breakcore, RKT, among others. It is distinctive for its use of Egyptian and Arabic melodic samples and slower tempo, creating a dark atmosphere. "This song was inspired by the song "KaTT - SUPERMILKCHAN”. I thought it would be fun to turn it into baile funk," píccolo told us. The Tokyo-based DJ and club experimentator is back with his new fresh club hybrid.

"I love club tracks and the thought of having people dance to my music excites me! I was into baile funk when I was writing this song, and the artists I was listening to/inspired by at the time were Klap, Mu450, and Adame DJ. They had a significant influence on me."

₪ "Spiral Club Cuts is an EP made with the club in mind, but without formulas. These are tools I use in my sets, some created alongside Mexican producers, with rhythms of my world side. Maybe it sounds like some kind of bass music, pop, and mixed with sadness. Sometimes I feel like I don’t really know how to make club music — I just try to create something I’d be excited to play on a big sound system. It's a feeling," tells us Mensik.

₪ As well as with other Mensik's projects, you can hear this sentimental feeling you have after the party, after the festival. It's something cold, but also very dreamy. And living in Mexico City, and also touring and DJing across the world, Mensik is putting all his experiences into the music.

The tracklist offers a dynamic, shapeshifting palette: vocal-driven club tracks collide with broken rhythms, angular leftfield techno mutations, dembow-oriented tools, and even UK garage hybrids. 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐱 ➽ Warsaw-based Julian Płoski, known as Julek Ploski, is a Polish experimental music artist, producer, and composer. On his gendre-bending albums, Julek blends baroque aesthetics, metal, hyperpop, spoken word, piano or hard dance. As on this guest mix exclusively created for Swine Daily, we can hear Julek's surreal, eerie, and theatrical experiences.

From citing parts from the various movies, to Bred Mehldau's piano interpretation of Elliott Smith, to Japanese game soundtracks, Leonard Cohen, an interview with Jeff Bezos, or a baile funk remix of Justin Bieber. Nobody does it like Julek. Every time I hear Julek's music, I feel like I'm watching a theatre play. It's this atmosphere between soundtracks, spoken words, music collages, and silence, it's just incredible.

Hiiro Issiki’ s "Tannins" is a 6-track mini-album that blends immersive ambient, cinematic dance music, and techno, crafted with minimal repetition to shape an environmental soundscape. It is inspired by movie soundtracks and emotional atmospheres, it merges ecstatic expression with meditative stillness, questioning modern society through deep, unshaped sound waves and abrupt noises.

The songs on the album are the result of a number of factors, but the emotion is consistently sad and dark. The songs have what is known in Japanese as a “fragility”. “儚さʼʼ (Hakanasa)

Sabi, using grains, ethereal sad voices and Noise Bigbeat, is a pulsating techno piece with a raw, industrial edge. It captures the fleeting beauty of decay and inviting movement with its hypnotic beats.

「 Areliz Ramos is a Peruvian producer living in London, recognized for an evocative palette weaving lo-fi and downtempo threads into dreamlike, abstract emo narratives. 

While her debut ‘Frío’ (Where to Now?), orbited around homesickness and estrangement, ‘B-Side’ embraces imperfection, incorporating her guitar (named "Frank"), pedals, synthesizers, and her own vocal textures for the first time, privileging emotional immediacy over technical precision. 」

✲ Japanese DJ and producer WRACK returns to NAAFI with a new EP that channels his signature fusion of Japanese taiko-inspired percussion, dancehall grooves, and Caribbean bass intensity. The release builds on the momentum of his previous singles and EPs, marrying the raw energy of taiko-drums with deep low-end and hybrid club sensibilities.

✲ As with his NAAFI output, this EP delivers tracks designed to resonate in club environments—driven by punchy rhythms, rumbling basslines, and textures that reflect WRACK’s global club perspective. WRACK is a prominent figure in Tokyo’s electronic scene, known as a resident DJ at HKCR and for his mixes with Boiler Room, Mixmag Asia, NTS, Rinse, i‑ D, and more. His DJ career, which began around 2009 inspired by hip‑ hop, evolved through open‑ format influences from artists like Diplo and A‑Trak.

With a base of surrealist string soundscapes, "Xtent" explores the passing of time and relationship to tactile spatial sensation, weaving together found sounds, gritty noise, and sonic storytelling.
