⮯ VOLQUETE is a party and music platform that was born in 2022 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Its main goal is to promote artists and producers who investigate resonant and percussive music. It’s curated by Callwso and @remiseria-temperley (with whom we made a recent premiere).

⮯ "Yapa Rayada" is the name of the first V.A. album and recording material from the Volquete label/party. Condensing the aura of the port basements, various South American producers experiment with the mixture between local rhythms and the rawness of a sound designed to scratch the rubble.

✱ @benfikaa is a DJ and producer from Tijuana, Mexico. He has been active on the underground club scene since 2015. In his music, he unites different genres and club influences using the juxtaposition of intense and aggressive rhythms with more subtle and emotional melodies.

▰ His last release "Ruinas" came out on the label @infinite-machine in 2020. Since then he released various club singles on his own. Benfika is also a co-founder of event series and label @latigazo-club in Tijuana.

✱ @cuntryclub is a new Paris-based alternative club music label that focuses on the global bass and Latinx community formed by @djunderarrest / Their debut compilation will be out on October 27th

Dj Under Arrest nos presenta su recién nacida plataforma musical/netlabel Cuntry Club con sede en París estrenando “MATENA STELO”. Un primer V/A en el cual se recalca la importancia de la inclusión para la creación de una comunidad que busca representar a los talentos que componen la diáspora queer latina y la música bass industrial global.

Nombres como 2AT, Ene Ese, Hi Rosie, Sewa, Oblinov, Lou Kessler, Nadsy.I, Lunatica, Imaabs, Felix, DNZA x undrwrght, YA1000, Cimmaròn, Brenda, Parzubanil, Tufi x Candie, Licra, K-OH. , Brnzecr, Benfika, Girl Tool x Burna, RAVL y SEPBTT y otros que representan actualmente el panorama de la música post-club de vanguardia que logra resonar más allá de los confines geográficos. 

En esta premiere presentamos este track super potente a cargo del productor y artista chileno Imaabs, una de las figuras más representativas e influyentes del panorama sonoro Latinoamericano en los últimos 10 años. La música de Imaabs encuentra y redefine lo experimental en la nueva música de club, un nuevo sonido electrónico que combina naturalmente ritmos futuristas y bailables con ecos de su herencia latina, pero de una manera totalmente poco convencional. “Laboratorio” es una palabra clave para entender la propuesta, una combinación de laborare, trabajo y experimentación, abrir una ventana para pensar en la pista de baile y la música de club como una zona de experimentación radical.
