Aaaaa, the Swing Low days. These memories are of many nights with the best of friends, jamming until 2am, cases of PBR, desperately trying to finish recording our first EP, and even playing a few shows!   

We recorded the Eyes Wide Open EP entirely on our own at the Taraval House and our practice space in South City. Mostly a collection of the very first songs we wrote as a 4-piece in 2008-2009. At that time we were still a quartet, but soon after in 2010 our good friend Eric joined the band and took over duties on bass. One could say he really gave the new songs some LEGS to stand on!

Aside from the EP, we never properly recorded the dozen or so songs we wrote as I band. We did, however, occasionally take extremely basic recordings of our practices to remember our parts/ideas. Essentially just a single Shure 58 microphone hanging from the ceiling. Horrible way to record a band haha. Suffice to say, we never got around to making another record or proper demos, so I (Ryan) decided to go ahead and throw these up in this cloud of sound.  So enjoy the super boot-leggy Lost Tracks of Swing Low!
