Dog Explosion began in 2011 in Nottingham when ‘music enthusiast’ Oliver Lovley decided to perform his electronic & vocal songs at an open mic night at The Maze on Mansfield Road. Suitably encouraged Oliver purchased his now famous stuffed dog mascot to give him comfort onstage and to discourage troublemakers. Over the years Dog Explosion have played at craft fairs to audiences of fighting children, in car parks to confused real ale drinkers, in living rooms to clusters of baked students and at political fundraisers for sparse audiences of head-banging folk music socialists. 
The Music  If we can imagine a highly stressed office worker having sat on an overcrowded train for three hours without bottle of water on a damp seat within the vicinity of the smell of vomit, and then turning up to perform the music this journey has inspired, we have an accurate flavour of the music of Dog Explosion. 
But whatever ‘they’ say, Dog Explosion probably remains Nottingham’s ninth best one-man dog-related electro-industrial-rock music act around!

The launch of his label EWAudio in 2015, showcases Wagner's unique style and production aesthetic.  A steady flow of support has followed as Dj's including Marcel Dettmann, Marco Bailey, Alan Fitzpatrick, Skream, The Black Dog, Norman Nodge, Dj Emerson and SLAM's Orde Meikle test out his productions on the global club and festival circuit.
