We are proud to have him representing the label with his passion and enthusiasm for the psychedelic scene, and every set we see him play, he creates unique experiences for the dancefloor. Motion Theory is the psychedelic trance project by Tyron Berry, Psytrance lover and specialist, born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. He has been involved in the music scene since his childhood and he soon discovered the psytrance scene in the early 2000's, which is now his primary passion and artistic expression. He spends most of his time mixing in the studio, trying to improve his mixing skills and experimenting new ideas, with the aim of exciting and injecting the dance floor with pure energy.
He is also well-known in the local scene as Spiritual Protocol, his Twilight act signed to Enterprise Records Israel and Kaos Krew Records South Africa, for the quality and maturity of his track selection and being able to read the crowd, playing tracks from well respected labels in the twilight scene... which reflects the knowledge he acquired through the years of studio time. 
Through his creativity and understanding of audio manipulation the Motion Theory project was born.

In the next epiosde of Sangoma Records series you can listen to a fresh mix by Russian label producer, FUNGUS FUNK.

Fungus Funk is Sergei Prilepa, an established psychedelic trance musician from Moscow, Russia. Sergei started producing psytrance in 1998, and he has been releasing music since 2001. Over the past 15 years, Fungus Funk has put out his compilation tracks on numerous other labels. To his credit are four well-received full length albums: ‘F-People’ (2006) on Acidance, ‘Vostok 1’ (2008) together with Samadhi on Blitz Studios, ‘Electric Grooves’ (2010) also on Blitz Studios, and ‘Kremlin Gremlin’ (2012) on his own label Unlimited Music. Additionally, Sergei also released four acclaimed EPs. Fungus Funk’s sound is not easy to define as it incorporates features from different sub-genres of psytrance and generally tends to change from album to album. Regardless of which version of Fungus Funk you get to experience, it is guaranteed to be full of fat well defined basslines, powerful psychedelic leads, and top-notch sequencing. Courtesy of his productive musical output and subsequent popularity in the international psytrance scene, Fungus Funk regularly travels the globe and plays his live and DJ sets at various dance music events. Among some of the bigger festivals he has appeared at are the well-known Boom Festival (Portugal), O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, Sonica (Italy), Antaris (Germany), Transcendence (Brazil), and Hadra (France) among others.

The concept of Sonic Elysium was established by Alexey ‘LSB’ Mamzelev in 2008 in Moscow and the debut album Mahaon, that blew up the Psyshop TOP10 in 2011, received a great response from trance lovers the world round and instantly caught the attention of psychedelic family resulting in a series of bookings across the Europe and gigs in legendary arenas of Goa. Raised with love and care, long awaited second full length album Faster Higher Stronger hits Psyshop TOP3, staying there for weeks in early 2015.
Having a serious musical background of the Moscow Music School #1 graduate and the education of telecom engineer, Alexey skillfully masters spine-shivering harmonies as well as the sound perfection. Never to be described as just ‘psy’, ‘goa’ or ‘fullon’ music, Sonic Elysium renders the finest parts of all the subgenres into a nice blend of driving bass lines, precisely tuned sound effects and analogue leads rich in melodies, along with mantras and ancient chantings to deliver the ultimate experience of pure joy, driving the dance floors into ritual ecstasy.
Advancing in his musical career, Alexey becomes the promoter himself. Series of indoor events along with the annual Skazka Festival (meaning “The Fairytale”) gathering thousands of happy freaks in the sacred Russian woods for 5 years already since 2014, spotlight the talent and contribution into the world trance culture.

Govinda is an Italian dj and psytrance party organizer. Born in 1986 to parents who had been traveling for many years, he grew up living in Goa experiencing its magic and freaky context from an early age. His first party in 1999 brought a full understanding of the Goa reality with its emphasis on freedom, and manifested his attraction to trance music. He started collecting music and playing it, at first with a Minidisc player and later with CDJs. In 2002, Govinda played his first dj set in the well-known Ninebar in Goa, thus marking the beginning of his dj career. He instantaneously loved the feeling of enjoyment he could provide through music and the palpable interconnection that forms on a dancefloor. After a practice season, he was soon playing in the main legendary party spots in Goa: Discovalley, Paradiso, Primrose, Monkey Valley, Hilltop and many more. In 2005, he was signed to Spun records (the GMS label). Two years later, he went on his first international tour where he played along artists such as GMS, Pixel, Alien Project, Spacecat, Domestic, Perplex and Psysex, in Thailand, Nepal, Goa as well as several European countries. During the Goa season of 2007/2008, Govinda started following a different vibe and looking for a more psychedelic sound that would best fit his personality. At the time, Phatmatix, Digital Talk and Concept were his favorite artists. At the Mountain Madness Festival in Nepal of 2008, he played a set right before Ajja and fell in love with his sound. The meeting also started a connection with Peak Records, which later led to Govinda being signed on as a label dj. While frequently performing at Goan hotspots such as Club Westend, Hilltop, Ninebar and Shivavalley, he created with a group of friends the NightRainbow Project, a Goa-based party organization responsible for more than ten parties in the first season of its existence. The sum of all his experiences finally took the the shape of the organization/label Believe Lab, founded by him and a few other fellas. Today Govinda and Believe Lab have been an important operator in international festivals in Italy, as Blackmoon Festival, Sonica. Believe Lab actively organized its own festival, 7 Chakras, where Govinda and his crew finally have the chance to promote positive messages as environmental awareness and self respect to people through music. His musical journey is not over yet and his dj sets are just fitting more and more any kind of psychedelic dancefloor.

Tsubi has been an active member of the Hungarian psy scene since the 2000’s. He has been a resident DJ of the Avatar party series since the very beginning and also at O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, where he also plays a big role in program organizing and managing the festival’s web radio. In the past years he has played at all the noteworthy local psytrance events, in many European countries, and has also been invited to perform in Japan, India, Israel and Brazil. From the mega summer festivals besides O.Z.O.R.A. he has blasted the dancefloors of Boom, Sonica, Glade, Full Moon and S.U.N. festivals too.
More recently, he and Dr Space have launched their own party series, Labirhythm, presenting the artists and music that stand close to their heart to the Budapest audience.

As regards his style, Tsubi loves and is able to move among a really wide spectrum of sounds, he is relentless (and unwavering) in his search for the most contemporary soundscapes and the most unique tracks. With his two other projects, TSB and Tsu, his focus is on downtempo and techno, respectively.

In this episode, the focus is on Portuguese artists, RAFYX from Reversible Records. Check out his interview on Ozorian Prophet.

RAFYX is a young project created by the fine touch of Rafa, 30, from Portugal. Raised where psytrance is a niche music style and thus pretty inaccessible to the many, he had to face a difficult challenge in order to get to know the million faces of psychedelic music. This 6-years journey of self-teaching, travelling, creating connections and exploring music production, brought him to join the Reversible Records project in 2017. His debut track “Before Drop” – included in the VA “Another World” – is groovy and energetic, spiced up by uplifting harmonies and acid vibrant sounds.
Rafyx is a project aimed at creating something different and powerful. It is an explosion of sexy and hypnotic beats with the fusion of psychedelic, electrifying and contagious effects that will put dancefloors on fire.
After a collaboration track with Mono Sapiens, released on 24/7 Records, Rafyx is currently busy with the production of his new 5 tracks EP which will be out on Reversible Records on February the 4th. Save the date.

Most well recognised as his Dj persona SwiTcHcaChe, he has spent the last ten years rising from the underground and blazing an unstoppable path straight through the stratosphere....

Wearing a wild grin, he seizes the strange controls of the alien machine. In a blur of nimble fingers he tweaks at the illuminated dials, sending the audio ship tearing through the continuem like a sonic surfboard. Cruising through dimensions, switching between worlds, he dives deep into the universal databank unlocking the hidden cache, unleashing ferocious energy straight from the psychedelic core.

SwiTcHcaChe is also commander in chief at PsynOpticz Records, their aim: To Traverse the Multiverse in search of the most reality bending music for alien and earthling ears, and to take PsynOpticz to higher dimensions with every cycle, pushing the collective to singularity.
