Mateo originally hails from Miami & spent his late teens in Buenos Aires playing in local nightclubs. Mateo has been in the game for over a decade & his musical journey has placed him in various clubs & parties throughout Miami, San Francisco, Melbourne and Auckland.

Now firmly established in Mt. Maunganui, Mateo co-directs Switch Off alongside Ali Mihai. The pair have been the source for bringing the underground house & techno sound to the shores of the Mount since 2018 working with local, national & international talent & over the years has seen numerous events at venues such as Totara St, La Mexica, Mount Social Club and Astrolabe 👏 

Mateo’s musical experience shows through this mix, providing a deep groovy mixture of sounds laced with funk, jazz, soul and disco! Not one to miss, tune in via the bio!! ♻️
