Switchstance Recordings proudly presents a new artist to its label roster, the Australian producer and film score composer Fixed Error. The certain way his music is grooving and its tight funkiness is exactly what makes him a perfect fit to the artist roster of Switchstance Recordings. 

“Wax Lyrical” is his first single release before the album “Untold” will drop in early 2023. There will be 3 other singles coming out before the album release.

After the debut single “Wax Lyrical” by Fixed Error for Switchstance Recordings it is the time for his second single “Waiting For Time”. This one is a groovy tune with lots of percussion, strings and flutes that take you on a journey through space and time. 

Fixed Error is painting pictures with his music, taking the listener through melancholic scenes and futuristic locations that are soaked with positive feelings and a huge amount of hope. Well, his background in composing film music cannot be overseen here. This is the soundtrack for a fictitious science fiction movie in a not so far future!

Kabanjak´s moody song "Sapphire" begins with a melancholic guitar intro that is merging into a sluggish downbeat, typically for Kabanjak´s music.

As soon as the drums and bass kick in, we hear floating strings, a sparkling glockenspiel as Kabanjak continues to add more and more mystical sounds along the way of the song.

In the End arpeggiated synths and chopped blues vocals replace the guitars and finally everything breaks down into a beautiful outro without ever touching the ground.

In Persian Lore it was believed that the sapphire´s reflection gave the sky it´s blue color, which is a perfect image for Kabanjak´s song.

"Blue" in the sense of feeling down but also giving a glimpse of hope and positivity.

"Switchstance" is taken from the culture of boardsports, meaning the skill used to change the stance (easily) by switching one's foot position. The stance in freestyle Snowboarding or Skateboarding, is either riding in "regular" (left foot forward) or "goofy" (right foot forward) position. This identifies a really skilled rider and opens up a whole new world of trick combinations.

The label's creed and therefore the style of its producers and DJs is to have ultimate freedom, whether in their musical movements or in "switching" between various styles. The aim of the label is to combine early musical influences such as Funk, Jazz, Latin, 90´s Hip Hop and Reggae with the most progressive techniques of electronic music production in order to create a new dynamic sound that pays respect to the diverse cultures it comes from. It is the soundtrack of the lives of artists that dedicate their time and energy to produce cutting-edge grooves for a conscious and openminded generation.

Inspired by the label members' and friends' lifestyles in music, boardsports, arts and travels; the sound of Switchstance is always in motion and reflects a unique vision and attitude towards modern life.
