Independent Sydney label Trackwork have been hugely influential on our city's club and rap scene since their formation in 2020. Artists like Vv Pete, T Breezy and Walkerboy have become magnetic by being staunchly themselves, from bringing global club sounds like baile funk and gqom into local hip hop culture, to representing regional towns like Inverell with the same pride and realness as any rapper from Western Sydney.

The ethos behind the label, run by UTILITY and Elia Bosshard, powers that vision from the bottom up. It's build on trust, love and support between the label owners, the artists and their families. These connections extend to every collaborator, from photographers to mixing engineers, making the foundations of the label stronger. Nothing is more vital when you're independent, working with fewer resources than most.
