After last years well received album 'The Phoenix', King Britt returns with his 'Fhloston Paradigm' moniker for the first of a series of 'Cosmosis' EP's.
'Cosmosis Vol 1' is three spacey, perfumed hardware workouts of the kind that Fhloston Paradigm built his name on.
The EP starts with 'Sonic Six' matches bumping drum machine rhythms with gurgling bleeps and mournful strings building the emotion through the noise.
The second track is the slowly evolving ambience of ‘Faith’, which builds up into radiant, shimmering clouds of sound before a bass line drops midway grounding the track melodically and switching the emotion from ecstatic to bitter sweet.
The EP finishes with ‘Past’ where broken sounds are dragged over a warping piano line, a flickering static melody engulfs the track as the noise dies out.
Cosmosis Vol 2 comes early next year.

Number five of eight in the Trigram series. Raw, unadulterated tribal bass music with a deep roots foundation. This is the sound of Trigram.

JahYu: the Korean word for ‘freedom’, this is an artist whose music is rooted in the notion of freedom, freedom of sound, freedom of expression, freedom from mind and freedom of the soul. JahYu uses his creative freedom to connect with his ancestors and create music that somehow transports the listener through time and space. Oriental flute and string melodies slide effortlessly amongst powerful roots-based dubstep, creating a sound that is unique and full of flavour. This enigmatic Korean-German producer blends both sides of his heritage, the digital steppers that emerged from Europe in the 1990’s alongside the traditional oriental music of his mother’s homeland, Korea, augmented by a deeper exploration of contemporary bass music. It is said that JahYu’s family descend from the same lineage of Go Jumong, the founder of the great Goguryeo Kingdom of the Far East, a people renown for their ancestral worship and unique musical expression. Goguryeo music was even adopted as official court music for the powerful Sui and Tang dynasties of China, many times throughout history these Chinese dynasties were at war with Goguryeo, however, the music of the enemy, Goguryeo, was still able to flourish in China and has been consistently performed across Asia for hundreds of years. Perhaps this explains the majestic qualities of JahYu’s music. JahYu’s productions provide us with the opportunity to discover our ancestral roots through music. Roots music is not a sound, it is a feeling and a feeling that JahYu is able to evoke with profound intensity.

Queste sono le versioni che abbiamo preparato per il progetto Dubs for Syria, una compilation multimediale che punta a raccogliere fondi da destinare alle vittime della guerra in Syria.
Il progetto riunisce dubmakers,cantanti,produttori e artisti di ogni genere intorno ad un unico obiettivo, raggiungibile attraverso l'unità e la consapevolezza. 
I brani della compilation sono versioni del riddim Dub for Syria prodotto da Jean Paul Dub per l'occasione.


War to war é un brano dal cantato potente, un grido di speranza per la pace che esprime la sofferenza di un popolo martoriato dalla guerra. In questa versione oltre ad inserire il cantato abbiamo riscritto la parte ritmica inserendo alcune percussioni, e la linea di basso, registrandone una nuova, per rendere la versione più mistica.
Nyabinghi for Syria é invece un recitativo in stile Dub poetry, dove sulla linea di basso e sul ritmo scandito da congas e percussioni sono state recitate alcune potenti frasi di HIM Qadamawi Haile Selassie I, Re dei Re e Principe della Pace. 
Le sue immense parole sono estratte dal libro Il Sigillo del trono di Niqolò Patriarca.

Noi diciamo guerra alla guerra, noi diciamo mai più guerre, noi chiediamo pace per tutte le persone che soffrono.

Culture Dub Records is proud to announce Switchy Dub's new album for free download! The French dubmaker is back with "God Vs Evil" : Eleven tunes featuring Monkey D, Lotfi (Fu-Steps), Ultra-K, Jennifer Paulos and Imanytree! 

The dubmaker from Paris, Switchy Dub, released ‘God Vs Evil’ for free download on Culture Dub Records! It is an eleven-track new album combining Electro-Dub and Hard Stepper featuring Monkey D, Jennifer Paulos, Imanytree, Lofti and Ultra-K! 

In October 2017, Dirty Live Dub, the duo with Vini Selecta, released its the first EP available for free download on Culture Dub Records’ netlabel. It’s time now for Switchy Dub to come back with his first own album entitled ‘God Vs Evil’. 

He is the author of two self-produced EPs: ‘Birth’ in 2015, ‘Anti-gel’ and then the remix in 2016 on Marée Bass Records. Switchy Dub draws his inspiration from some French Dub pioneers such as High Tone and Zenzile, as well as the Hardtek scene in order to deliver a powerful sound as part of the Electro-Stepper movement with Panda Dub, Mahom, Ondubground and more… 

‘God Vs Evil’ is definitely the most accomplished album: a long-term project from the composition in his Parisian home-studio to the mastering by Urban Mix & Master, including the selection of singers and additional musicians for the brass section. 

Such as a fantasy novel, ‘God Vs Evil’, takes us in an epic battle between good and evil. MC Monkey D declares the emergency, and Lofti (from Fu-Steps) and the singer Ultra K see the evil’s spread. The good is beaten, but like a phoenix, it rises from its own ashes. 

The light emanates from the very darkness thanks to the brass section and the voice of Jennifer Paulos. The fight against Babylon takes over with Imanytree and Monkey D. The two singers arm themselves with biting lyrics and their sharpened flows ready for the final clash! 

In this endless duel, one thing is certain: music always wins! Switchy Dub’s compositions are natural and melodic with a heavy bass and a powerful kick as well as integrated guests to this fantasist universe but firmly Dub!
