She Don't Like the City Part 2

Sword Attack! originally named Sword Attack Klang Klan were a band from Sunderland and played between 2008-2009. 
Formed by Jamie Stephen Hall and Zachary Carl Ord after leaving thier previous cover band. Drummer Jamie Ferrey was found whilst Guitarist Jamie and Zach were writing songs.

Thier first practice together was in September 2008 at The Bunker in Sunderland and the result was an amalgamation of cohesive sound broth, the first song they practiced was Slinky. 
Sword Attack!s last practice was in August 2009 in a garage in the small mining village of Horden in County Durham, this practice resulted in the song She Don't Like the City. 

Sword Attack!s first gig was at 7even in Sunderland city centre, and thier last gig was a secret gig in a closed down catridge shop. 
During thier time together Sword Attack! have played in venues such as The Head of Steam and The 02 Academy in Newcastle, and The White Rooms and Independant in Sunderland. With such bands as
Molk Vant, The Small Screen Light Show, The Foxes, Frankie & The Heart Strings and Demob Happy to name a few. 

All of Sword Attack!s songs were recorded at The Bunker's Room 3 Studios under the engineering of Neil Basset - ex drummer from The Golden Virgins. 

In late 2009 Sword Attack! split up, with Guitarist Jamie moving away to Brighton for University - Bassist Zach would be moving to Carlisle in the following year.

Jamie Stephen Hall is currently in multiple bands in Brighton but is prominently playing in an original band named TIGERCUB.

Zachary Carl Ord has formed a duo with a talented pianist from Germany and is currently recording under the name Seas & Mountains. 


Sword Attack! had a good run and it was THE best time of my life as a musician, If I had to thank anyone it would be Jamie Hall for putting in the effort where 
there wasnt any help. I wish him all the best with Tigercub and you never know, you may see Sword Attack! rise again. 

So... Think of a life outside the box and meet me there.
