Swordkilla, born and raised in Sicily, began his journey in 1999 and continued until 2007 as a b-boy, inspired by his older brother, Kast from Castle Rock Crew, who had been active since 1998. Between 2006 and 2007, he delved into graffiti, rap, beat-making, and turntablism. In 2008, Swordkilla decided to focus exclusively on beat-making and turntablism. His unique, raw style draws influence from notable artists like RZA, DJ Premier, DJ Dsastro, DJ Krush, and DJ Shadow. During these years, he collaborated with DJ Gruff, a pivotal figure in Italian hip-hop history. DJ Gruff also featured in Swordkilla's album "Flying Dagger EP," where Swordkilla and Thatkidnamedcee, a renowned turntablist from San Antonio, Texas, showcased their skills in scratching and beat production.

At the age of 23, Swordkilla moved to Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Here, the vibrant city atmosphere and new connections propelled his venture into experimental electronic music. This new direction was characterized by downtempo and trip-hop, enriched with carefully selected rare samples, synths, and vinyl records found in the finest vinyl stores. Looking ahead, Swordkilla plans to produce several beat tapes in the upcoming years, continuing to evolve his distinctive musical identity.
