It’s their creative approach to think out of those boxes – boxes that Maria and Luis enjoy to open up, especially if they’re filled with vintage records. It’s their great passion to draw inspiration from old vinyls and collect samples for their extraordinary productions. So the tracks „Upai“ and „Minuhan“ are simply the words of the track’s vocal samples... as easy as it gets!
Accompanied by the powerful remixes of Lola Villa, Da Iguana, Yusuf Lemone, Ali Kuru, Alvaro Suarez, Lui Mafuta & Puste, Geju and Mettabbana you can be sure some closed doors in your head will be opened up. Two volumes of remixes crafted by brilliant producers who reinterpret the various and rich musical material of the vinyl “Fire feat. Adrian Sherwood” recorded during the live performance where the Fire Crew met the Dub Legend.  Kaleidoscopic viewpoints from heterogeneous sound worlds that further expand the horizon of a record that is already a journey in itself.  

The cover contains a precious gem: the strips of tape that dub master Sherwood placed on the mixer to define the channels during the live performance. The same tracks were used by the remixers for their reworks, adding unique extra layers to this extraordinary collaboration.
