I play music and rep the West Coast (Bristol that is). 

I got into DJing DnB in the late 2000s and the passion never stopped - from buying vinyl to mix with mates to collecting flyers from club nights and obsessing over track IDs. I've kept it rolling ever since and very grateful to have played in some mad places and worked with some incredible artists and record labels. 

In 2025 it’s all about sharing music, meeting new people and enjoying myself. I manage a record label 'Carbon Music' with Jubei, host the ‘Balance’ show on SWU FM with Hollie-May and I’m a resident DJ for Eddy Rocksteddy’s night 'Hot Jams' in Bristol.

From listening to my first rave tape, the sounds introduced to me, blew my young mind. Fast forward to many years later I met a group of like minded friends who had turntables that I could play on which started my desire to learn to play. Whilst attending the underground raves I met a group of friends who was interested in forming a sound system, which became the notorious Koalition Soundsystem which played at various raves across the country. After the raves died down I had the opportunity to present various internet radio shows inviting local talent to play alongside me for many years. As well as playing at clubs and festivals across the country. Lately I have joined up with a group of friends which then became, True F'RMS! Where we have been doing livestreams on internet radio station and studios like Rough Tempo, Dose radio and Silverback studios as well as a few others. Also we had a ep come out on Rawdio recordings as well as some forthcoming releases.

Hollie-May resists your definitions. She’s not a sweet, young thing spinning on the decks for your viewing pleasure. She’s not a novelty act added to a bill in an industry heavily dominated by men. She’s not a female DJ, she’s a DJ, an artist
 and an activist. She’s unafraid to push past boundaries and defy the typical.

As such, her sound doesn’t fit your expectations, it rumbles you; bold and uncompromising, deep and rolling with mercurial arcs and twists. Her background and influences might be familiar to many of us; getting down to techno as a teen and raving to jungle at free parties before she was old enough to drink, but her sound also broods with a heaviness born of an early love of heavy metal (Hollie-May’s dad played in the thrash metal band Kaotika) and explores a darker side to the form. Now well established she has been shuffling nebulous shadows of big, bad sound next to the greats, performing alongside Ray Keith, Aphrodite, Goldie, Kenny Ken , Bladerunner, Miampi Swift and Saxxon, to name just a few.
