3+ hour DJ set recorded live at my residency for Berlin femme forward queer sex party LECKEN. Warming up for Objekt & Call Super on a hot and sweaty August night, complete with live crowd recordings- absolutely vibey!

3 Hour recording from my first ever closing set for Lecken. From UKG to Techno in 3 vibey hours. Was one of the most special and emotional sets of my life - we cried, we cheered, we hugged and we celebrated queer love. Thank You Lecken. Artwork by Leon Allez <3

This mix was made especially for my technodrifters far & wide in time for the Winter Solstice and the Grand Conjunct. The idea was to press play at 18:30 & drift, with the ending being aligned with the Saturn & Jupiter Conjunction at 19:37 CET. The tempo is 128bpm throughout - the optimum drifting tempo. There are added vocals throughout the mix with particular meaning & attached to specific memories of the ghosts of our ravey pasts. 

The call to arms from Maria Scaroni, technodrift creator:

'Technodrifters it’s the darkest time of year. If you have a bit of a pagan, either undercover or outed spiritual practice, you know these days are for planting intentional seeds for the returning sun. We will dance away assessing 2020 and dance intentions and wishes towards 2021. Sophie conjured a mix just for this purpose, so there is much power given already to the collective mind.

This drift is dedicated to Mariana, who vanished at the end of summer leaving many longing to have one last dance with her. A sunshine. May this dance serve your grieving in tender recognition.'
