Breakbeat Kejut Bahu is a breakbeat style that carries the old breakbeat style, but is made more exciting. This style was pioneered by a nightclub, namely Alexa Suites & Lounge which is located in North Jakarta, precisely in the PIK 2 area.

Speaking of breakbeat, here is an explanation of the Breakbeat genre:
Breakbeat Kota or known as breakbeat is a Funkot sub-genre that emerged in the 2010s after Dangdut House. Although in fact, the use of the term "Breakbeat" in this music genre overlaps with the meaning of Breakbeat which developed first in the United States. Almost the same as Dangdut House, this music emerged because Funkot had begun to be inhabited due to changes in the style of Funkot music played by DJs in the city so that it sounded unclear. The point is that breakbeat is funkot that is made more relaxed and slower.

Back to the album, this album not only displays the Breakbeat Kejut Bahu song style, but is combined with other electronic genres. That is the reason this album is called BKB EXPERIMENT.

BKB EXPERIMENT（BKBエクスペリメント）は、インディペンデントなコレクティブ・アルバムであり、「ブレイクビート・ケジュッ・バフ（Breakbeat Kejut Bahu）」の音楽スタイルをより実験的にしたもの、つまり「実験的BKB（Experimental BKB）」を目指しています。このアルバムには日本語の楽曲だけでなく、その当時話題になっていた他のジャンルの楽曲も含まれている可能性がありますが、大部分は日本語の楽曲で構成されています。さて、「ブレイクビート・ケジュッ・バフ」とは何でしょうか？

ブレイクビート・ケジュッ・バフの説明：
このスタイルは、昔のブレイクビートの要素を受け継ぎつつ、より刺激的で盛り上がるようにアレンジされたものです。この音楽スタイルは、ジャカルタ北部のPIK2エリアにある「Alexa Suites & Lounge」というナイトクラブによって始められました。

ブレイクビートというジャンルについて：
「ブレイクビート・コタ」（Breakbeat Kota）または単に「ブレイクビート」として知られるこのジャンルは、ダンドゥット・ハウスの後、2010年代に登場したファンコット（Funkot）のサブジャンルです。ただし、アメリカで発展した「Breakbeat」というジャンルとは名称が重なる部分もあります。ダンドゥット・ハウスと同様、このジャンルは都市部のDJたちがファンコットのスタイルを変化させた結果として生まれました。そのため、音が曖昧になり、よりゆったりとしたリズムが特徴です。
 
このアルバムでは「ブレイクビート・ケジュッ・バフ」スタイルの楽曲だけでなく、他の電子音楽ジャンルとも融合させた作品が収録されています。これがこのアルバムのタイトルが「BKB EXPERIMENT」とされている理由です。
