B4 The Progress

Matty Kay, starts his story in the music scene from a young age. 
Aged 10, he picked up his first musical instrument, the guitar. Ever since he played his first guitar chord, the passion, the strength, the joys and the entire "keeping sane" elements of music just ran throughout his bloodstream.
Starting off with rock and alternative music he blew audiences away with not only his technical ability but rather the presence that he brings on stage. He has shared the stage with many a respectable artist of today such as, Zebra and Giraffe, Graeme Watkins Project, Jesse Clegg, Die Heuwels Fantasties, 1st Project, Wake to Wonder, Van Coke Kartel, Newtown Knife Gang, CrashCarBurn and many many more touring and enjoying South Africa and the alternative scene, and many of individuals have commented...... "Every time he climbs up on stage, there is just an aura and light shining on him". He not only plays music, but rather lives music.

Since the alternative market in South Africa is slowly taking a toll towards a minority market, and the music still drives forth his soul, in August 2013 he took it upon himself to learn another instrument, being the Turntables. 

Since the first time his friend introduced him to the likes of Kyle Watson, he has grown a vast ear towards Deep/Funky/Garage/Tech house.
