MORE HAPPY DAYS AHEAD

Joseph Anthony Sousa Jr., born in Brooklyn, NY on July 27, 1968 
formerly known as DJ Dr. Souss aka SOUSS.  
He was influenced by New York's Hip Hop and Breakdance scene in his younger years and at the age of 15 moved down South to Louisiana.  Souss mastered his skills as a night club DJ and became one of the legendary DJ's in New Orleans by the time he was 21 years old. Mixing and Scratching at the hottest nightclubs and holding residency at House Of Blues, Aqua, 360 WTC and Kenny Key West.  In 2002 DJ Dr. Souss had the pleasure of performing at a nightclub event which  hosted the New Orleans Mayor and The New Orleans Hornets basketball team.  His popularity for the past 30 years has allowed him to travel all across the United States headlining and opening up for the Music Industry's top artists like: Tiesto, Egyptian Lover, Stevie B, Crystal Waters & Quest Love just to name a few. Since the 2019 Pandemic that caused the World to stop, Souss didn't miss a BEAT turning his passion and focus towards writing and producing his own music.  His music has been streaming all ver the world on major platforms like: Spotify, Apple Music & iTunes.  In 2020 he released his first track titled “The Serum”, followed by “Horn Play behind the Second Line”.  In 2021 he released “More Happy Days Ahead” and “Hypnotica Utopia”.  Currently working on another track to be released before the end of 2021.  This new path has allowed Souss to compose many styles within different genres bringing his EDM “Soussafied” style to Hip Hop, Breaks, House and World music.  Souss' accomplishments has opened so many opportunities within the Music Industry, his passion and love of music has fueled him to pursue his dreams of producing and writing for opportunities within TV, Movie and Commercial industries.
