Life Story

A song of dedication to my first genuine love as a young traveler in the 1970's. Her name was simply 'Skye' and she sadly passed away after being struck by a truck while we were travelling together. This is her song.

I originally wrote this as a rap, but it just seemed to work so much as hard-core swamp blues along the lines of the 'Oh Brother, where art thou' movie.

Misguided People

This is just a bit of bluesy fun poking fun at my life, now approaching 70 years old, when a hot cup of tea relaxing in old armchair is the new Heaven... and exploring opportunity shops looking for old treasures is my latest concept of a great day out, lol!

The Elderhood Blues

A poetic, spoken piece about the need to change our attitudes to life, activism, Earth healing, and the social conscience of our world. This is not a message for past generations, but for current and future generations of young people who simply NEED to know that there is still hope for their future; and that they CAN choose to turn around and walk away from those who seek to control through power and money and build the world that THEY want and need from the fertile ground up. They 'though they might try to, they cannot fight stillness, peace, love, and the choice NOT to comply with 'their' demands and expectations. They cannot fight the sheer power of youth working together as Oneself, to choose to live simply, and free from their burdens and expectations.
