We are super hyped to present the 73rd edition featuring a high intensity hour of groove from re:flect co-founder Ciaocacao!

Ciaocacao is a female DJ living in Berlin. Next to her solo project she is also part and co-founder of the interdisciplinary collective re:flect. Music has always fascinated her for a long time. She used to love to dance for hours and get lost in the melodies and rhythms – today she tries to create these exact feelings of freedom and ecstasy through her sets. This is also where her inspiration comes from, for her there is nothing better than seeing how she can take people on a musical journey and make them dance. Her sound is focused on an energetic, groovy and rolling tunes with a high tempo.

Beste Hira is an adventurous, strong willed and motivated person now based in Amsterdam with Istanbul as hometown. These aspects have brought her to the position she stands as an artist today. Music has been a lifelong priority. She started at the Mersin Fine Arts High School Music Department where she studied classical piano and cello. She continued her professional music career at Ondokuz Mayıs University where she has successfully graduated from the Department of Music. Her career as a dj/producer started soon after and is why she decided to move to Amsterdam. 

She favors the ethnic, groovy and dark side of techno that drives you through the night. Her broad education of music can be heard in her music productions where she meticulously experiments with sounds to produce her signature sound. In her performances she has a determined mindset to create a complete sensory experience.

Reptile is the techno project led by the music producer and DJ Jaime H. Armijo. Based in Madrid for many years now, he is also one of the founders of the Symbole Community and the music director of the collective. Although he has spent most of his life dedicated to music, it was only a little over a year ago that his name began to be seen in the booths of the capital, and his techno productions started to come to light.

Reptile's style could be defined as a blend of tribal techno and classic hardgroove from the 2000s, although his sets can embrace a broader musical range, varying from the more mental sounds and textures to the more physical stuff.

For this episode of our podcast series, we share a recording of his performance during the peak-time of our latest -secret location- event on December 5th. The set goes from raw techno to impactful hardgroove, also diving into a darker and deeper facet of his.

Impulse is a DJ and producer who was shaped by the many underground Techno events in and around Amsterdam. Impulse values variety and the many different styles and sounds Techno has to offer. He is always on the lookout for new, stimulating and trippy tunes to incorporate into his sets. Every track he selects needs to have interesting sound design or a unique rhythm to it. Impulse’s love for Techno started at the young age of 15 and he has since honed his skills, playing at venues like RADION, Bret, Noordwaards and Paradiso for events like ANTIDOTE, Vault Sessions and Intercell. Other than that Impulse produces as well, spending many hours creating the sound he loves. His music is supported by artists like D.Dan, Lea Occhi, AMORAL, Lyric, future.666 and more. For this podcast he focussed on keeping it raw, tribal and intense throughout the 3 decks mix.

Juri Heidemann former known as Mio, is a Berlin based DJ and a versatile producer, focusing on Techno. Influenced by various genres, he is constantly creating his very own vision of electronic music with unique nuances and textures to his sound.
His artistic approach is already audible on important labels such as Be As One Imprint, Quartz Rec. , Frenzy and many more. Thanks to his musical knowledge he takes every crowd on a journey through sound from old school to modern sound and all the way back. No matter if it takes two or eight hours. His sets are equipped with lots of own productions. Expect hypnotic grooves, shaky rhythms and endless loops that will keep your feet moving.

Pien Verschiere is a 26 year old Dutch DJ based in Deventer. Pien has been playing for several years now and is mostly inspired by uptempo, hypnotic and groovy sounds.
 
She uses techno to reflect her creativity to the scene. She loves to keep it fast and her goal is therefore to create a ‘fast paced’ ambiance where fanatics like herself can lose themselves to.
