“I am a spirit on a quest to heal’ she was born in Tokyo, Japan. She began her musical career with the electronic organ and piano at the age of three and discovered the world of dance music through simply dancing and became dedicated to it. By 2004, she embarked on a new adventure as a DJ, playing across some of Tokyo’s ‘lounge' clubs. Sound introduced her to a whole new world, inspiring her to seek the healing power within it through various experiences of music and dance. Yumii plays deep ambient music - a beautiful companion that resonates perfectly with trance music.Her music style inspires a deep, meditative, ambient set that's infused with deep electronica. Depending on the mood, the tempo can switch to funky lounge, deep house dance, tribal fusion and even a freestyle mix of unpredictable grooves! She has been performed at many parties including "Universo Paralello 2009","Boom Festival 2010, 2012", "Transahara 2013","PSY-FI 2015".She plays both domestic and overseas.

Adiós Morena is the first single off of Afro-Pacific super group, Rio Mira's forthcoming album, Marimba del Pacifico. Composed by Esteban Copete, the single also features remixes by Nicola Cruz, Kaleema & Chancha Via Circuito, Midnight Ravers and M. RUX. 

In 2015, UNESCO added the marimba to its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, observing that "Marimba music and traditional chants and dances are musical expressions integral to the family and community fabric of people of African descent in the Colombian South Pacific region and Esmeraldas Province of Ecuador." 

In celebration of this cultural heritage, and with a main goal of creating an intergenerational meeting between the sounds of Afro music from the Pacific, Rio Mira was founded. The project has a fundamental mission of revitalizing and strengthening bonds between the members of the Afro community from each side of the Colombia-Ecuador border. 

Rio Mira is co-produced by Ivis Flies (Co-Director and Creator of the musical and social heritage recovery Project "De Taitas y Mamas", nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2013. "Smile Ambassador" in 2010) and Ivan Benavides (Producer of Carlos Vives, Sidestepper, Chocquibtown, Grammy Winner Gaiteros de San Jacinto) and features a number of well known Cali and Esmeraldeña artists including Esteban Copete and Karla Kanora. Rio Mira's first album, Rio Mira - Marimba del Pacifico, will be released in 2017 on AYA Records.

Groovity, the side project of Flooting Grooves, can be described as that uptempo groovy psytrance and psy-progressive sound dedicated to bringing back those awesome beats and grooves we love to get down to. 
Post-Shamanic Stress Disorder has all the elements that we’ve come to respect of Pearce van der Merwe’s unique sound. Funky, jazzy, eclectic, trippy, intelligent layers of sound interweaved with catchy kick and drums, spaced out rhythmic molecules and thought provoking particles that gets your toe tapping, bum wiggling and inspires non-stop moving to the groove. 
The album is a feast for the ears and takes listeners on a psychedelic journey of the mind, body and soul while simultaneously emphasizing the fun and quirky side of life. Groovity proves that he is a force to be reckoned with as he seamlessly transitions from one style to the next. Watch this space ladies and gents, only more good beats to come.

Full power morning psytrance, taking the dancefloor from crunchy layered psy for the night-timers still on the floor to a more melodic sound for the 'wake and bake' crowd joining in for the day.

It is, in my opinion, one of the trickiest timeslots to play at a psytrance festival as one does not want to chase away all the night time trippers, but you also want to make the music inviting enough for the day-breakers to get involved. Peace.

This is an almost exact replica of the set I played, re-recorded at home. (I may have forgotten 1 or 2 tracks). :)
