In the 29th podcast of the Koche Podcast we are meeting Jacques Le Flamand (@user-320057782) - a DJ from Ninove (Flanders, Belgium). He has been into electronic music since the early days (the late 80s, early 90s, New Beat, Acid House even hardcore gabber at some point), and started buying/mixing vinyl, mostly Detroit Techno/Electro and Chicago House. From 2010 on with the digitalization of dance music in general I started to explore the later subgenres: Minimal, Tech House, Dub Techno, Micro House, and Romanian Tech.

Bio:
Claudio Zomparelli, aka CL-ljud took his first steps as a DJ in 1993. He began playing clubs in his home province of Latina, Italy in 1996. In 2001, after honing his skills in the Italian DJ circuit, Claudio decided to travel to London seeking to gain experience outside of his home town and find his true sound as an artist. Not long after, this allowed Claudio to attain a residency at Itaca Ibiza for the summer. Over the years he has played in cities such as Rome, London, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Athens, Gdansk and Odessa. Today Claudio has integrated all his musical upbringing him into his productions which have seen him releasing with a variety of established labels.

If SIFF is a driver then his podcast is a vehicle for improvisation, reconfiguring the sounds to suit the future. 

It starts with affricating voices distorted into electronic sound-papers, recurring to the music as a function. Time takes us into a tubular portion where the interaction is reduced to the minimum yet delivers a kaleidoscopic pattern of audibles. 

Towards the middle of this technical ride, we found ourselves in the middle of a playground with all the bubbly shots and ethereal waves of futuristic lyrics. Ferociously effective compositions conduct an expedition through the technical department. 

His music is pleasantly precise and sharp.

For this new Minimadelic podcast, we are proud to welcome Root with a set exclusively made up of his own productions. Root opens the dance with a solid groove and immediately immerses the audience in a soft, melodious and psychedelic trance, spiced up with bizarre and dissonant hits. Indistinct murmurs have a cerebral impact, supported by an incredibly lively and precise bass.
A flute comes to guide the spectator in his shamanic journey, time dilates on a suspended atmosphere, and more and more contrasts offer an unprecedented sensory experience. We witness a fluid succession of sound paintings, the groove remains powerful, flawless and yet constantly enriched with subtle variations. The elements dialogue with each other brilliantly, as we slide into an organic abstraction.
Between mischievous and energetic, the journey continues with tracks that are each more interesting than the other, real playgrounds for the ramblings of the mind. Surprises await the audience at the turn, with electric guitars and surrealist dialogues.
The complex and beautiful rhythmic sustain the most seasoned ears until the end of the set, all with an exceptional narration.

Les rythmiques à la fois complexes et belles sustentent les oreilles les plus aguerries jusqu’à la fin du set, le tout avec une narration exceptionnelle.
