CharlestheFirst Mix

It's been over a year since I recorded the last Lab Group mix - so much has happened since then to say the least. Watching Lab Group grow has been one of the most incredible things I have ever witnessed. From endless new music, to traveling the world and sharing it with all of us along the way, I am so grateful to be existing at the same time as Lab Group. 

With that being said, I want to recognize the tragic loss of our beloved CharlestheFirst. It's almost impossible to come up with the words to describe how incredible of a person Charles was. I am forever grateful for the art he gave us, the emotion and unbelievable hard work he put into his craft. He loved us, and we love him so much - I know he will be watching over us all. 

For now, we all have to try and keep our head above the water - for eachother. I recorded this mix with Charles, Kyle, Hunter, and all of his close friends, family and fans in mind. There were so many more tracks i wanted to include, but this collection of music just felt right. I hope it brings you peace, happiness, and helps you remember all of the incredible times you've had that were created by the beautiful mind of CharlestheFirst, Supertask, and Potions. Love you all. Lo.cate 005: Alex Unger (Live at the Brunch Box)

Live in Cappadocia, Turkey, October 2022. 

This set was recorded on a hot air balloon over 3000ft in the air for a 20 person dance floor. WOW. Absolute peak life moment! This is the maximum height that balloons are allowed to fly. The views were completely otherworldly from up there. This was also one of the first DJ sets of its kind, with a generator powering a full PA sound system in the basket.

Moments like these remind me how magical life can be if you find an outlet for your artistry. 

Huge thanks to Chelsea and Oren at the Exquisite Artist Retreat for making dreams a reality. It was beyond amazing!
