MAUER presents EP "Pointless Conversation" – a tribute to classic techno

Warsaw, December 19, 2024 – Polish artist MAUER returns to the electronic music scene with a new release, EP "Pointless Conversation", which takes listeners on a journey into the depths of classic techno. Consisting of four tracks, this EP is brimming with hypnotic sounds, pulsating basslines, and an atmosphere that captivates from the very first beat.

"Pointless Conversation" is a project that celebrates the essence of techno – minimalism and sonic intensity – while exploring emotional and psychological landscapes. Each of the four tracks tells a unique story:

KxExTxA
The opening track is a voyage into altered states of consciousness. It evokes feelings of depersonalization and detachment from reality. Hypnotic beats and ethereal sound effects create the sensation of drifting in space, where time ceases to exist, and the senses are overwhelmed by vivid, dreamlike visions.

Magic Pills
The second track pulses with the energy of weekend madness. Its dynamic tempo and rebellious sounds capture the essence of endless nights on the dance floor. This is an anthem for those who find freedom and euphoria in techno.

Blood in My Veins
A track filled with intense introspection, transporting the listener to a state where they can almost feel the blood coursing through their veins. Monumental basslines and subtle, meditative sounds combine to create a piece overflowing with raw emotion and vitality.

Am Wriezener Bahnhof
The EP closes with a tribute to the most iconic location in the world of techno. The titular Wriezener Bahnhof, a former train station in Berlin, symbolizes the history and heartbeat of contemporary electronic music. Blurry & reverbed sounds dominate the track, reflecting the spirit of this legendary place.
