WINPA dj set @ The Hive | MoDem Festival 2023

This Mindspring Music episode features TAKKRA, the medicinal music project created by visual artist, guitarist and producer David Vigh. Later down the line David was joined by Máté Kocsis on drums, Mr Dure on keys, Matyi Mohácsi on bass, Julcsi Szomráky, Molek Keri and Donna Terra on vocals forming a full live band and a creative community with the aim to bring listeners regenerating frequencies through sound. Their message is: "Music can be the universal medicine and may be the antidote for hate and could be the trigger for a higher development of consciousness and inner healing. We have gathered a bunch of medicinal tunes for you as a soundtrack for contemplation on the power of love and interconnectedness. May these sounds be tiny light sources in these dark times to illuminate the path towards within."

This duo joined Blackout Records soon after, where they have released their debut album "Ad Astra" in the beginning of 2024. Known for their fresh approach to psychedelic music, expect dancefloor twisters, ranging from groovy dance patterns to deep and mental atmospheres. Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation who arose out of sea foam on the coast of Cyprus. Therefore she is also known under the name Cypris, her Roman equivalent is the goddess Venus and she is also identified with the Ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor. Myrtle, doves, sparrows, horses, and swans were said to be sacred to her. 
Her father Zeus fears that because of Aphrodite's beauty other gods will become rivals to possess her. Therefore he marries her off to the god of smithing Hephaestus, who is overjoyed to be married to the goddess of beauty. He manifactures her stunning jewelry that make her even more irresistible to others.
As one of the Twelve Olympians of the Greek pantheon and thus a major deity, worship of Aphrodite, (or Aphrodíti), as a living goddess is one of the more prominent devotionals in Hellenismos (Hellenic Polytheistic Reconstructionism)the revival of ancient Greek religious practices in the present day.
This set is a recording from a nice outdoor party by Sound Elements Productions near Nikosia in April 2016 where i played a set into sunrise.
